As a hospitality student at George Brown College, I am passionate about learning and developing the skills and knowledge required to succeed in the dynamic and competitive industry. I am currently pursuing a diploma of education in hospitality administration/management, where I have gained exposure to various aspects of the field, such as operations, marketing, finance, and human resources. In addition to my studies, I have one year of experience as a retail sales associate at Hudson's Bay Company, where I delivered outstanding customer service, increased sales, and contributed to the growth of the company's rewards program. I have also recently joined Starbucks as a barista, where I provide quality beverages, food products, and customer satisfaction, while also implementing strategic changes to improve efficiency and reduce waiting time. Through these roles, I have acquired valuable skills such as communication, problem-solving, product selling, and customer service management. Furthermore, I have a unique domain expertise in YouTube marketing, which I have leveraged to create and promote engaging and informative content about hospitality and travel. My intention is to continually develop myself and become an improved version of who I am today, and to pursue a career in hospitality marketing and management.
