The University has invested in a new CRM, Microsoft Dynamics 365, designed to streamline the student experience with the University. D365 aims to improve staff efficiency when dealing with students, resulting in increased student recruitment and retention.

With a history spanning over 100 years, the University of Leicester is renowned as one of the UK's most prestigious academic institutions, boasting numerous accolades and awards. As a member of the Digital Services department, I was recruited to assume a crucial role in managing the university's most significant and high-profile initiative to date. This endeavour involves the implementation and successful delivery of a state-of-the-art CRM system that will impact every facet of the institution, ranging from students and applicants to prospective candidates. Spanning a period of three years, the project will unfold in three distinct phases, meticulously designed to ensure seamless integration and optimal functionality. This ambitious undertaking aligns harmoniously with the university's strategic trajectory, which encompasses a comprehensive program of works spanning five to seven years, aimed at propelling the institution forward.

Cambridge & Counties Bank

Cambridge & Counties Bank are a niche bank that is helping businesses grow by providing business savings accounts & finance solutions. specialising in property finance, asset finance, classic, vintage, sports car finance and savings accounts for small to medium enterprises.  I have successfully delivered a number of key projects including a Financial Crime project, managing a budget of over £2 million.
 
• Currently managing the implementation of a CRM system rolling out to every area of the business.  This project is the largest project the bank has had to date which involves daily management and leadership of internal development team, including developers, testers and BA’s.
• Successfully managed a £2.1 million Financial Crime Project which had severe regulatory impacts to the bank and had a hard deadline.  This was delivered on time which prevented the bank from losing their licence
• Restructured & refined the Transformation Team ensuring all documents, metrics, processes where in place and followed efficiently, not only within the team but also the wider business
• Build, managed and successfully delivered a Small Change business function which is still being used to this day.  With all processes being defined and agreed by key business areas, this change function has managed to save the business over a 1000 man hours in just one year
• Creating and delivering project plans and prioritisation of project activity to meet the overall business programme objectives.
• Actively managing RAID logs as well as budgets and reporting to executive directors on a monthly basis

Big Lottery Fund

Big Lottery Fund is a non-departmental public body responsible for distributing funds raised by the National Lottery for "good causes". Since 2004 it has awarded over £6.2 billion to more than 130,000 projects across the UK. As an IT Project manager, I am given the freedom to run a project on a case by case basis.  Whether it be Agile or Waterfall, I have the knowledge and skills to transfer between the two. I liaise with parts of the business to ensure engagement and input into initiatives, including managing effective change, gathering and analysing information so we understand how well we’re progressing towards our strategic targets.

•	Creating and delivering project plans and prioritisation of project activity to meet the overall business programme objectives.
•	Managing the project stage gates and the lifecycle methodology.
•	Identifying and communicating project risks, concerns and issues and escalating to the Programme Manager.
•	Managing the project resources, negotiating project changes, and adjusting resources across multiple projects.
•	Maintaining the project risk log, ensuring appropriate actions are in place to manage the risks in accordance to their priority across the programme lifecycle.
•	Setting and driving the project timelines, ensuring all deliverables are met and completed on time.

IT Project Manager

SIG plc

A graduate scheme with SIG plc, a FTSE 250 company and one of Europe's leading distributors of specialist building products, my role within SIG is to support the roll out of the new multi-million pound ERP K8 system into over 300 branches and 5 back offices across the UK.  I have successfully been involved in the transition to K8 for over 90 of SIG’s branches to date, many of which have turnovers in excess of £25 million pa.  

•	Being a key member of the Change Project team implementing the K8 system and going through the change management process with key senior and regional staff. 
•	Drawing up of process maps for multiple branches and assisting the training of staff for the ERP and CRM system.
•	Redesigning warehouse structures in order to migrate the data into the new Warehouse Management System (K8).
•	I regularly handle raw data and extract information into meaningful reports for branch managers and regional directors.
•	I can comfortably use a range of Office programs, and have been trained in Excel to an advanced level including the use of functions such as VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
