Lead product and engineering teams working on developing frameworks and applications on top of Kubernetes. This included KUDO (http://kudo.dev), Dispatch (CI/CD), and Kudo for Kubeflow (ML platform). In addition, I was also responsible for SRE, build and developer tooling, as well as open-source teams.

Lead cross-company projects and initiatives with strategic partners and customers (Fortune 500 and Federal Government). Owned and delivered features across the product resulting in tens of millions of dollars of new revenue and renewals.

Worked on all aspects of DC/OS (the datacenter operating system) an open-source, distributed operating system based on the Apache Mesos distributed systems kernel. Lead core platform engineering and product teams (Mesos, Marathon, Networking, Storage, Security, Platform SDK, Scalability Testing and Quality).

Built a team that designed and developed a fault-tolerant, distributed system for collecting, storing and processing petabytes of data in near real-time.

Developed a decentralized, fault-tolerant, multi-attribute task scheduler used for parallelizing application workload on a cluster.

Developed an algorithm and a library for fast parallel string pattern matching (thousands of patterns, about a million of string matches per second).

Elaborated a successful proposal on behalf of CernVM and CERN SFT projects to participate in the Google Summer of Code 2011 and 2012 programs.

Mentored a student who successfully accomplished a task of the development of a web based monitoring system for CernVM Co-Pilot distributed computing framework.

Developed components of the monitoring system that perform analysis of the logs of CernVM Co-Pilot components and visualize the data.

Mentored a student who successfully accomplished a task of the development of a Continuous Integration framework based on AMD Tapper open source toolkit

Architect and lead developer of CernVM Co-Pilot - one of the enabling technologies for LHC@home 2.0 volunteer computing project (https://www.bbc.com/news/science-environment-14488797). Co-Pilot allows dynamic instantiation of a large scale, secure and fault-tolerant distributed computing infrastructure on top of virtualized computing resources.

Lead developer of a banking system for economy based job scheduling and resource sharing in AliEn Grid infrastructure.

Developer of authentication and authorization system for the large scale distributed computing infrastructure of ALICE experiment.

Developer of a port of AliEn Grid infrastructure client to Microsoft Windows.

Was selected to participate in Google Summer of Code 2008 Program with The Globus Alliance (University of Chicago). Initiated and successfully accomplished the development of a framework for dynamic integration of Nimbus cloud computing resources with the distributed Grid computing infrastructure of CERN ALICE experiment.
