My brother Jules Marie 🎾 lost yesterday to Titouan Droguet in the first round of qualifying for Roland Garros.

A great match against a strong opponent.

Jules defended himself well.

But Titouan was stronger and I can only congratulate him on his victory.

(By the way, I hope he'll make it through the qualifying rounds to play in the final draw. He's a player I admire).


In any case, the mission Jules and I set ourselves 2 years ago has been fulfilled:

He's back to play The Grand Slam

It's an achievement to be proud of, especially when you know where he’s come from.


Now, of course, we'll have to set our sights even higher, but I prefer to let Jules set his next goals for himself.


In the end, my only disappointment was not being able to see Jules play on the Suzanne-Lenglen court.

Besides, I don't understand the organization's programming choices at all:

The Marie/Droguet match (between 2 French players) was eagerly awaited by thousands of spectators...

However, the organization preferred to have S. Errani /Li  who were much less attractive to the french crowd.

In recent years, Jules has done much more than the major tennis organizations to popularize his sport, and it would have been nice to repay him by letting him play on this legendary court.

At last, the adventure continues, and I can't wait to follow Jules' next adventures!

20 years ago, I used to go to Decathlon to buy my tennis rackets.

Over the last three years, we have helped grow their TikTok presence with tennis videos 🎾

They now have 260k followers and are clearly one of the best TikTok accounts to follow.

So maybe I haven't managed to become the tennis legend I dreamed of when I was young...

But by following my passion for sport, I found other ways to enjoy my life.

Result: Today, I work on projects that thrill me. ❤️

Nico Rosberg chose to retire from F1 just after securing his world championship title in 2016.

When asked by journalists why he wanted to end his career...

He replied that for 25 years, he had dreamed of becoming world champion.

That he had achieved that goal.

And now he wanted to devote more time to his family.

Nico Rosberg's story is a beautiful one, and the reasons for his retirement respectable.

(Even if he left his fans with a taste of unfinished business, as they would have liked to see him continue racing).

Beyond the sport, however, it is symptomatic of what I call “satiety syndrome”.

In the beginning, you set yourself very ambitious goals.

You work hard to achieve them.

Then you finally reach them.

And so the fateful question arises: “Now what?”

What I admire most about athletes who win titles over the years is their ability to maintain the same appetite they had when they started out.

It's one thing to achieve a feat.

It's quite another to repeat it once, twice, three times and so on.

Because very often, when you reach a goal you've been working towards for years...

You just feel like you're done.

And the motivation disappears.

Today, I realize that what's important for me is no longer just reaching the goals I set myself...

It's about enjoying the journey.

Because achieving a goal is just about getting a result that flatters the ego.

But enjoying the journey means doing things that give your life meaning.

And that's so much more valuable...

As I move my agency from the French-speaking market to the international one, I'm connecting with English-speaking content creators.

Last week, I contacted 30 of them, resulting in 7 calls.


And the thing that shocked me the most after talking to them...

Is that they earn very little compared to the French content creators I work with. 


The reasons for this phenomenon :
- They don't like to negotiate with brands.
- They don't know their real value.


It reinforces my belief that I myself have something to offer them:

By defending their interests in front of brands, I can help them earn more... while working on projects that are even more like them.


But of course, I'd never have known that if I hadn't written cold e-mails to build connections.

The best way to rapidly develop a B2B business in 2024... It's still cold e-mailing.
