I am the founder of Just Another Moment a mental health business that combines adventure, community and education to combat everyday mental health challenges. Our mission is to create a community that encourages and promotes healthy conversations around mental health and ultimately save lives. 25% of adults in the UK experience some form of mental health problem each year. In 2022, 5,642 people in England and Wales lost their lives to suicide a rate of 10.7 people per 100,000 population (office for national statistics) this is a consistent trend. 74.1% were male. In 2022, 3249 people lost their lives to suicide in Australia. A rate of 12.3 people per 100,000 population. Men were around 75% of all suicides. We are here to help play a part in reducing these numbers, give people life and hope!
