My task was to perform pre-sales towards CIOs/CTOs of enterprises, meet them to look into their overall collaboration needs and then construct solutions against those from WestUC's own (Reservationless-Plus, Webcasting) and partner (Microsoft Skype for Business & Teams, Cisco WebEx Meetings & Teams, Kollective eCDN) product portfolio. I also performed demonstrations, proof of concepts, custom implementations (technologies such as SIP/RTP, webRTC, PowerShell involved) and troubleshot initial client problems.

Sales to Spain, Latin America and Vodafone Group Plc. Adaia was a start-up set up by mostly former Nokia employees developing a tough premium Android smartphone for the adventurer segment.

Nokia

Promotion of Nokia’s devices & technologies to Vodafone Group Plc.  Lead a virtual team of 10-15 people to assure products met client’s needs and to run technology collaboration initiatives. Negotiation of the content and management of the implementation of a reasonable set of Vodafone’s requirements into Nokia’s products.

Account Solutions Manager

Product marketing (to gain product ranging) & technology marketing (to gain deployments of Nokia supported services) to clients in Latin America South (AR, CL, UY, PY, BO and PE). Lead a team of 4-5 people. Provided key input to sales planning. Managed execution of client specific variants.

Technology marketing to Telefónica, independent operators and governments.  Focus on WCDMA & HSPA, VoIP/WiFi, IP multimedia & Push-To-Talk, digital TV and VAS.

Managed deliveries of wireless data or SMS charging systems to operators. Line manager for the delivery team.

Developed configuration check software to test whether produced computers were according to what was ordered.
