I'm Aryan Gaurav, an accomplished software engineer with a passion for solving complex problems using cutting-edge technologies. I graduated from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad, where I studied Mathematics and Computing. I have extensive experience in programming languages such as Java, C/C++, Python, and Scala, as well as expertise in big data technologies including Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and Airflow. I've worked at several leading technology companies such as Flipkart, ShareChat, and Axtria. At Flipkart, I've been instrumental in developing real-time Spark streaming pipelines for calculating user profiles for product recommendations. My innovative approach resulted in an 80k qps pipeline that saved 55% Kafka capacity and 450 executors for batch jobs. Additionally, I also developed a pipeline to publish the difference rather than the whole product meta-data to Kafka, reducing processing time for jobs consuming data and saving costs by 90%. As an accomplished data analyst, having worked on projects such as load testing the Memcached server at ShareChat and developing a generic graph library in C++ using template metaprogramming. Furthermore, I've also worked on projects in the finance and e-commerce domain, such as building a bilingual interactive voice bot for answering questions related to finance and e-commerce which led to 6 M intern and full-time offers from Flipkart. In competitive cases, I have achieved a world ranking of 355 in Google Kick Start Round D 2021 among 11k contestants, and qualified for JEE Advanced 2017 with a rank in the top 0.25 percentile among 200k students. Throughout my career, I've demonstrated excellent leadership skills and have served as the coordinator of the coding cell at IIT(ISM), Dhanbad. In my free time, I enjoy participating in coding competitions on platforms such as Codeforces and CodeChef.
