During my time there thus far, IFPRI has hosted 6 policy seminars, 1 book launch, 2 internal retreats and an large annual 2 day conference.

Responsibilities include:
-Collaborating with department staff to plan, coordinate and implement all in-person events
-Arranging catering for all IFPRI HQ events by attaining proposals and appraising each proposal to see which one best fits IFPRI's needs
-Managing a fluctuating team of department staff, temps and catering staff to ensure all aspects of the event are carried above and beyond expectations
-Developing web page content for all IFPRI internal and external events including event descriptions and other key event details

Selected Achievement:
-Responded to a need to upgrade our current communications technology by conducting internet research and drafting a report on various audience based response platforms and potential social media alternatives for live polling and negotiating an annual contract that was approximately $3000 below our current contract.
