Before having a side hustle was cool, mine paid for university and launched me into entrepreneurship and technology. In high school, I had a part-time job at Staples. Back then, they didn’t offer tech support services, and I had a keen interest in technology. Before long, customers would ask me to help them with tech support and custom website and PC builds for their small businesses. I became the go-to tech support for many of these clients, and they referred others. Those early experiences gave me my first taste of entrepreneurship and cemented my passion for technology. Today, as Founder and Managing Partner of SolvedAF, I help organizations achieve growth through strategic change that drives efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and better user experiences. I’m an outcome-focused technology and finance executive with expertise in implementing governance, structure, process, and programs. Today, with close to two decades of experience in managing complex projects, high-performing teams and driving business growth, I bring a unique blend of expertise in finance, governance, and IT to help my clients successfully reimagine how they do business. I also draw on a track record of entrepreneurial success that dates back to those high school days. Away from the workplace, I mentor future business leaders as part of the BCIT School of Business Entrepreneurship Program and sit on the Board of Directors for several start-ups, non-profits, and small businesses.
