I didn't attend any classes or training sessions and learned SEO on my own .

I used to spend entire nights building the website and creating content.

Until November 2020, I had no idea about hiring, but I continued my favorite part, which was training people in what I had learned.

That's when my students turned into my team.

Today, we provide world class services on SEO & Growth marketing.

This won't stop as a service base company, as we have started investing assets into building products

And in a mission to build a community of financially knowledgeable entrepreneurs through 'FINtrepreneur' Newsletter and heading to a day when every youngster breaks the stigma of dependency.

New beginning!! New Financial year FY2024-25



Last FY2023-24 was one of the phenomenal year for both myself and 7 Eagles!!

We as a team scaled almost 5x in terms of revenue compared to FY2022-23.

Here are couple of sweet memories over the last financial year,

- We launched 7 Eagles Academy, and introduced SEO online course. As of now we have completed 8 batches of SEO courses.

- We have focused couple of other services apart from SEO - Growth marketing, performance marketing, WordPress development & maintenance.

- We invested time and money in hiring UX/UI designers, React developer; this has helped in creating our own products (in process, will launch soon)

- As a Growth marketing agency, we have a complete team that has all the skillset required for a marketing. We do all the works with the help of in-house; zero outsourcing.

- Made many of my core team members to invest, save money for emergency fund; they are in the journey of financial freedom.

- Personally, for the FY2023-24 is the first year, where I drawn complete salary.

- We started making profits, and built a small part of cash reserve.

- Towards the end of FY2023-24, we started promoting through various ads. This has scaled our brand awareness.

- We have signed with couple of consultants to gear up our teams skill.

- More than 60% of the revenue comes from business based of USA.

- Currently, we are 27 members team. Thanks to universe, I have earned so many brothers and sisters, who really puts a tons of effort in growing 7 Eagles a MarTech company.

For FY2024-25,

 - It's all about scaling, investing in marketing & branding.

 - Soon will launch our products, and make sure 7 Eagles is a Service & a product company.

 - Launching couple of other courses under 7 Eagles Academy.

I started from nothing



I started from what I had in my hand.

Yes, many brands that are doing more than billion dollars started with what they had in hand.

These business didn't had a fancy office infrastructure, Highly skilled employees from IIM/IIT, not even a proper cashflow.

But, had a strong vision, plan and path for reaching the destination.

It's to start, rather than thinking of investments or raising funds or business loans

Also, avoid these mistakes while you start the business

- Investing a lot in infrastructure, painting, etc the moment you start the business (many trillion dollar companies across globe started from garage).

- Fancy work equipments; you don't require MacBook or iMac for your team, rather buy refurbished laptops

Controlling unwanted expenses can help you avoid debt, or collateral damage on companies finance.

- Hiring team for doing your work, and you taking rest

Till you make a monthly revenue of 2-3 Lakhs, don't start the hire. 2-3 Lakhs per month is the average income for a Top 1% freelancer across any high-paying niche.

- You can't serve a pizza within your team, you're team size is bigger. Avoid unwanted hiring, and focus on pulling out maximum potential from each team member.

- Never be aggressive, blind aggressiveness is so danger. Slow and steady is good for business growth. Focus on single product/service till it reaches a potential revenue growth.

- Make sure the environment is healthy, and keep all gossips out of the park.

Here are few thing you should consider while building a business,

- Business is all about finance, manage them properly.

- Team is the best asset. So, hire the right people, nuture them, incentivize them, and grow them along with you.

- Fire the negative or toxic people; this includes individual who never develop themselves

- Provide ample of training; if you couldn't signup with consultants.

- Make salary on time, and never miss this any month (The biggest reason, why people skip startups is, they don't pay on time)

- Share your vision with your team, and make them a visionaries.

- Love the team as yourself, and they too will return the same back (Myself enjoying the same with most lovable team around me)

Starting doen't need anything.

Just start

Rest all will come with the flow.

1. Build your business with core values, and vision - These will the driving force.

2. Don't hire for your vacancy; rather hire for the attitude and their passon. Let it take time, but wait for the perfect fit

Team is the biggest asset, a good hire can scale your business; and a bad hire can bury your empire

3. Never show your ego with employees, clients, and family.

4. Always share your vision with your team members, especially with the core team

5. Your focus should be on building leadership team (Culture of leadership should be the top priority on culture building)

6. Build systems and process starting from hiring till exit process

7. Build leads, sales and automation system - Leads should flow into your CRM, automation should fix appointments or followup, sales team should close the deal.

8. Avoid unwanted meeting - Before any meeting, prepare and spend only as per your preparation. Keep your meetings shorts and crisp.

9. Delegate the work with executives, interns, and freelancers

10. Invest on tools that could save time, and provide you ample of data on your business performance

11. Spend quality time on analyzing data and take decision according to the data

12. Invest back on your business - Expand new team for service or products, spend on marketing, etc.

13. Never run your business on debt or go behind debt to run a company

The 6 month stealth mode is finally becomes official



Despite of having a passion of starting a business, I wasn't sure earlier that I would start a marketing agency.

After 2 year of building 7 Eagles, I was sure of transisting from a service based to product-based company.

But, was clueless as I was not a tech guy, and never had an experience of product development.

7 Eagles is going to launch a SaaS product in the Healthcare industry

I never thought of settling under a single banner, and that was the spark behind this initiative.

I always recommend to buddy agency owners to deep-dive to specific industries.

This has helped me and my team to find-out the opportunity to build a tech product that could solve the tech & marketing need of a healthcare brand.

Today, we have completed the full design of the product, and will be completing the complete product by 20th of May.

From 1st June, we are going to conduct a pre-launch with 100 customers for a period of 3 months.

- This period will help to understand our product from the perspective of our target audience.

- We will dynamically update the feature and user experience.

- Can setup the complete support team and process.

Post 3 months of pre-launch work, we will take another 15 days to complete the product as per the need arised during the pre-launch.

The product will be lauching in public on 16th Sep 2024 (5th Anniversary of 7 Eagles)

This is just the beginning.

More products are in pipeline.

Finally, a productive evening



For the 1st time, I planned a meet-up to meet my LinkedIn family in offline at Coimbatore.

After hustling for nearly 1 year, I planned a break for a week. In this accordance, I found an evening to have some free time at coimbatore.

The moment, I though this, I called Cibi Siddarthan NM to plan the arrangement.

Immediately, he referred Dinesh Chandrasekar ⏫ and Bharathidasan Moorthi, co-founder of Growth Partners Agency.

Really impressed by their warm welcome, and they immediately accepted to offer their space for the evening.

I would really thank Growth Partners Agency team member for arranging all the essentials so the event went flawless.

I should also thank Kumar Epic Life who helped me in arranging  giveaways for the participants, and been a great support along with Stanly Kennady till the end of the event.

Here are few glimpse of the event,

- The event started sharply at 4 pm

- The crew filled with students, freelancers, agency owners, aspiring agency owners, business peoples, Investment experts.

- We started with Q&A, followed by introduction along with their passion.

- The discussions included my freelancing to agency transition, The full-funnel of our courses, financial planning, 7 Eagles transition into a technology base company.

- I would say, the meetup was filled only with intelligent questions.

- I thank the universe to earn such family through LinkedIn, many of them travel around 3-4 hours for the meet-up, this shows, I have done some impact.

Over this period, you've been with me as a part of all these moments.

As an entrepreneur, sometimes you'll take time, but at other times, you need to make decisions promptly.


Even at my initial stage, I used to think a lot before getting into things.

It's always better to think twice and make better choice.

At every situation, the way you approach differs.

But if you aspire to become a quick and wise decision maker, here's my personal take for you:

1) Limit your options (it should be potential one).

2) Draw a line and divide them as benefits and risks. 

3) Think of your time and efforts as money.

4) Trust your instincts, balancing intuition with informed analysis. 

5) Never care imperfection. Understand that rapid decisions are the way for learning and adaptation. 

6) Prioritize relevant details for the decision at hand, avoiding information overload.

7) Define a timeframe for decisions. Taking more time might dilute your interests.

Remember,
decisiveness is a skill honed only through practice and experience.

Your confidence while overcoming the wrong decision determine the true leadership in you.

Strive for it.

Hard workers doesn't grow on common



Have you ever thought why people who work 16+ hours as cab drivers, delivery boys, carpenters, and masons are never millionaires or billionaires?

The first reason is Mindset. If needed, just try this with any of these people.
Ask them, “How is your day going?” 

Result— you’ll be completely demotivated about life

The second one is they only work hard, not smart. “Smart work is the hardest of the hard work.”

When you plan for today’s comfort, you can only do hard work

Only when you think and work for the future to stay comfortable, you will start smart work.

But how does it start?

My personal answer is believing “Yes, I can do it” in your mind. 

This is the turning point in my life of shifting from being a mediocre to a hustler.

During my last job, I wasn’t that happy with the job I did, and just like any employee out there, looking for a hike in perks.

During a National business meet around January 2019, somehow, I started investing time in books like The Compound Effect, Alchemist, The Power of Subconscious Mind, etc. and watched helpful YouTube videos. 

I started changing my mindset in some ways,

- What if I achieve what my company requires from me?
- I need to get all the incentives for the year & I can.
- I am sure that I will achieve financial freedom soon.
- By the end of this year, I need to start my business.

You won’t believe it, but at the year's end, I got all the incentives of the year. This helped me close down ample debts.

I became strong in my mind and started 7 Eagles with 2 small projects, and I really wished to achieve all that I wrote as the year’s goal

Believe me, it was not only the thought that made me achieve these; my actions made it possible too. Still, mindset (thought) was the first step.

To be frank, I am not the mindset coach, but I know my life started changing when I started working on my mindset and started believing that good things happen to me.

Here are 10 things you should start from today on “mindset” to become a financially free entrepreneur,

- I am blessed to be on Mother Earth.
- I feel grateful for having today. I am blessed to have a shelter to reside, a dress to wear, and 3 meals a day.
- The universe is making moves according to my favor.
- I am attracting all the good things from the universe.
- I am more confident, powerful, and successful with limitless potential.
- Money flows into my system easily and consistently.
- Earning is so easy, and I am investing consistently to make money work for me
- I have strong skills that can solve the problems of high-paying clients.
- I am worthy and a hustler with values to serve.
- I am a client magnet.


Do this for a month, and you will feel a gear shift in your mindset, and as we said above, you’ll start attracting all the good things.

The secret here is “Have a positive mindset and a goal, it will push you to take hustle actions towards achieving them”

It's last friday of the financial year FY2023-24



Let's learn personal finance on planning your tax exemption.

My life changed the moment, I started research on tax planning during 2018 (I was very poor that time)

Today, I have written ample of article on tax and its exemption

Here are the following sections you should know 

1️⃣ HRA Exemption

You can exempt HRA allowance from the package for the rent you  pay

HRA is calculated by either of the below two methods (which one is lower)
- Annual rent amount – 10% of Basic Pay.
- 50% of HRA allowance provided on a payslip.

2️⃣ Section 80C

The amount paid under EPF (Employee Provident Fund), PPF (Public provident fund), ELSS (Equity Linked savings scheme), Tax Saving Fixed deposit, Kids education bills, Term and other endowment insurance payments, SSY (Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana), National savings account.

You can exempt up to 1.5 lakhs under this section.
 
3️⃣ Section - 24

This section is useful for those who have taken Home Loan, a taxpayer can exempt a maximum of 2 lakhs in the interest paid annually on the home loans.

Section 24 is applicable only if your house stamp value is less than 45 lakhs.

4️⃣ Section 80CCD

Under this section, you can exempt up to 50,000 in a year when you invest in National pension scheme (NPS) and Atal pension yojana.

5️⃣ Section 80D

The medical insurance for your family (upto 25000) and your parents (up to 50000) can be exempted under this section

6️⃣ Section 80EEA

An additional benefit for taxpayers with a home loan under Section 80EEA, an additional of 1.5 Lakhs can be claimed as an exemption.

This can be claimed only as an addition to Section 24 of 2 Lakhs

7️⃣ Section 80DD

This section is used to cover the medical expenditure of the dependent disability. The disability should be a minimum of 40%. The dependent can be a spouse, children, parents, brothers, and sisters.

- For Disability of 40% – 80%, Rs.75,000 can be used for exemption.
- For Disability more than 80%, Rs.1.25 Lakhs can be used for exemption.

8️⃣ Section 80DDB

This section is covered for an individual, who has incurred medical expenses for specific disease treatment. 

The deduction is based on the age and treatment or capped amount, which one is lower.

9️⃣ Section 80U:

This is section is covered for an independent disability person’s medical expenses.

An amount of Rs. 75,000 can be used for an exemption for an individual with disabilities.

An amount of Rs.1.25 Lakhs can be exempted from an individual with severe disabilities.

🔟 Section 80G

Section 80G, in simple terms, is the exemption in tax, in occasion to the donations we pay. 

It can be PM relief fund, CM relief fund, donations to orphanage center.

The limit for 80G is 100% in some cases and have capping in some cases.

The compound effect by Darren Hardy was my game changer



The book starts with a story of king & travelling sage, who wins the king in chess match.

- Once the sage wins the unbeaten king around the empire, the king promises to give whatever he sage ask for,

- The sage, instead of asking for gold, requested rice grains, doubling on each chessboard square.

Means 1^1 (1) grain in 1st square, 2^2 (4) in the 2nd square, 3^3 (9) in the 3rd square, 4^4 (16), and so on..

- The king & his team, underestimating the request, and agreed (thinking of this man is mad just asking for few grains), and orders his officials to pack.

- The reward process began: one grain on the first square, doubling on each subsequent one.

- After reaching 4th row of the chess board the number of grains stumbles as they couldn't calculate rather can't supply as per the number to him.

- Then they started calculating for 64^64

- This "small prize" escalated to a monumental 18,446,744,073,709,600,000 grains.

- The total outstripped India's entire 2021 rice production by 2,300 times, illustrating the staggering power of exponential growth or compounding (64^64).

- To be frank, the intelligent sage has not demanded for small portion of grains, he has demanded for the complete world.


As I said above, you’ll become the person based on the actions you take today when it’s done consistently.

Consistent effort can yield the benefits of compounding.

- If you start investing Rs. 2000 in Index funds on SIP (systematic investment plans) for the next 40 years, you will have created more than 2 crores.

- If you start jogging for 10,000 steps daily from today, you’ll become fit in the next 6 months.

- If you consume a balanced diet from today, you’ll be healthier within a year.
If you start reading books today, you’ll become a wiser person in a few months.

The point here is the better you use the compounding effect in your favor, the more you’ll grow. This is especially so for any thing you want to build.

So, once again, never underestimate the power of compounding.

Do consistently on the efforts you put today till you attain the goals.

Many investors fail consistency in investment, and never grow their wealth.



It's Friday, let's sharpen our knowledge on personal finance.

The reason behind the above factor is, lack of motivation, and non-clear of the destination.

You need a goal to achieve when you work on something; be it investment or entrepreneurship.

I would advise you to have “Goal-based investment” strategy

Many financial planners advise investing at an early age, but your objective should be clear, and if it’s aligned with your life goals, you won’t miss out on investing consistently.

Investing is all about compounding, and consistently investing will help to grow your wealth in the long-term.

You can split your goals into three— short-term, mid-term, and long-term.

1. Short-term goals

Anything you want to purchase within the next 1-3 years comes under short-term goals.

Generally, 

- School fees
- Bike
- Jewels
- Mobile Phones or other Gadgets.
- Family vacation, and many more

You should look for very low to low risk investments options when your goals are to be achieved short-term.

Investment options for short term goals,

1. Fixed or Recurring deposits - Low risk with 5-6.5% returns per annum
2. Liquid funds - Low risk with 6-8% returns per annum
3. Ultra short funds - Low risk with 7-8.5% returns per annum

2. Mid-term goals

Anything you want to purchase within the next 3-8 years comes under mid-term goals.

Generally, 

- Saving for college fees
- Car
- Saving for starting a business
- Planning foreign trips

You should look for low to moderate-risk investments options when your goals are to be achieved short-term.

Investment options for short term goals,

1. PSU bank bonds or Corporate bonds - Low risk with 9-10% returns per annum
2. Bonds - Low risk with 7.5-12% returns per annum
3. Index funds - Moderate risk with 12-13% returns per annum
4. Large-cap funds - moderate risk with 10-14% returns per annum

3. Long-term goals

Anything you want to purchase after 8 years comes under long-term goals.

Generally, 

- Children marriage
- Retirement planning
- Dream home

You can go for low to aggressively high-risk investments options when your goals are to be achieved long-term.

As, the equity market volatility will nullify in the long-term, and yield a better return compared to market index bench mark.

Investment options for long term goals,

1. Index funds - Moderate risk with 12-13% returns per annum
2. Large/mid/small-cap funds - Moderate to high risk with 10-22% returns per annum
3. Stocks/shares - High risk with 14-22% returns per annum

Being Alone is super power


Personally, in the past,  my habits, behaviour changed, my skills where scaled whenever I was alone.

This is what I noticed in my professional life too.

After completing my Bachelors in technology, I was the only one in my batch choose sales, whereas other moved to production and IT.

Sales taught me,
- Customer acquisition
- Client relationship management
- Negotiation
- Intuitive decision making
- Deal closure, and many more.

I am always proud to say I am a sales person, as it's the starting point of my eager towards exploring marketing.

These both skills made me who I am today.

The second scenario is my journey with 7 Eagles.

Initially, I was alone in the market, I didn't had connects as I have today.

The first 3 years was coupled with so many fire-fighting and roller-coasters.

As many agency owners, I too did the same mistake of working on all the part of marketing.

Be it ads, graphics, videos, SEO, social media, email marketing, etc.

Finally, I found there is a huge vacuum for better SEO servicing agencies. Only few marketing agencies focus completely on SEO as a service.

To be frank, I was alone.

Yes, being alone gave me a super power to explore my interest, actions, decisions, etc.

There was no one to judge me, my decisions, my directions, etc.

Since, I made myself alone, there was no one to tell, "You can't do"

This was the initial stigma of reaching in Google when people search for "Best SEO Expert" from nothing.

Never underestimate the power of SIP in equity investing.



It's Friday, Let's learn some personal finance.

If you don’t understand or new to the stock market, you should only invest in Index funds that go via SIP (systematic investment plan).

SIP is also called Dollar cost averaging in the USA, and it’s investing a part of the amount every month on the same day systematically.

For an example, if your SIP date is 5th of every month, and the SIP amount is 5000,

Every month, your bank will credit the same to AUM (Asset  of the mutual fund under your folio number, and your wealth starts accumulating.

The beauty of SIP is that,

- When the market is positive, your investment grows

- When the market comes down, you can purchase more shares of the mutual fund

So, enjoy both the face, but in a long term of 20 years, your investment would have grown minimum at a rate of 12% every year on average.

Just invest 25K per month in any Index fund or any bluechip mutual fund for next 20 years, you can accumulate,

- 2.5 crores at 12% returns per year

- 2.9 crores at 13% returns per year

- 3.3 crores at 14% returns per year

- 3.8 crores at 15% returns per year

The numbers seem crazy, do you know exactly how much you would have invested— just 60 lakhs in 20 years, and the minimum returns would be 4x of the invested amount.

Don’t underestimate and miss the power of SIP in your investment journey on equity.

I spend Rs. 500 ($6) per day, and I don't get any conversion.


Today, I got an enquiry to validate their ads manager.

I asked them, what is the product, and how much is the price.

It's a FMCG food product that everyone use daily, and 100 gm cost around 800-900

Here is the common problem in understanding, and I see this day-to-day from the clients.

Most out there are in a false perception about internet or digital marketing; if I invest Rs. x, I have to gain back 4x to 10x.

That's not actual to be looked off.

Digital marketing is again a marketing, but it is done with the help of internet. 

- You no need spend in crores as same as traditional marketing mediums, rather few lakhs will start getting the desired result.

- You get clear data of who has purchased your product, which age group, location got you maximum conversions.

With these data, you can take workable decisions.

To answer the enquiry, here are couple of thing, you should know as a business owner,

1. You should know, what is your Customer lifetime value (CLV)

In the above case, the product wil be used atleast for 5 to 10 years and even beyond. Let me take 5 years as average CLV. Which is 60. months * 900 ($10.79)= Rs. 54,000 ($647.4)

2. Post calculating the CLV, you should keep in mind, 10-30% of CLV can be used to acquire new customer.

So, Cost per acquisition (CPA) can be between Rs. 5400 ($64.7) to Rs. 16,200 ($194.1)

3. If you think, I will not make any profit is I spend 10% -30% of the CLV for Cost per acquisition, It's time to work on the pricing strategy.

The MRP (most retail price) of any product should include - 30% for manufacturing including employee pay + 30% for Marketing + 20% for supply chain & logistics + 20% for profit.

How can I invest on marketing if I don't have a single revenue to spend?

A continuation from yesterday's post (same time)

Here are few steps you should take as a new business in terms of marketing or pre-marketing,

1. Use social media --> generate content --> increase engagements --> Get enquiries in DM --> Boost your sales

There are ample of business built today with the help of Instagram, YouTube or TikTok

If you feel bad to generate content on social media, it's hard time to invest time over there in learning and executing.

At initial stage of business, only thing you have in hand is time, so invest on building organic audience.

2. You should be clear on your pricing for both product or services, it should include the production & salary + Marketing + Supply chain & Logistics + Profit.

If your business is D2C or B2C, you should spend on packaging too for a premium look.

3. Join business network clubs like BNI, as you'll start getting referral business, using this build your customer base, and a revenue base of 1 Cr.

Till, you reach this, offline, referral, and participating in forum/event is the best way to promote your business, and grow the revenue steadily.

4. Untill you become busy, learn small concepts of SEO like keyword research, content writing, internal linking, etc. 

Start writing content on website, and optimize the basic components of the web pages.

SEO, can drive you free traffic to the websites, and start purchases from website organically.

4. Invest on branding (personal branding is an added advantage).

Make sure, many people search your brand name - So, keep your brand name unique, keep your brand colour unique.

5. Use 10-15% of the total revenue for promoting through Ads to reach out to new customers.

Ads should be used to scale the business --> Reach to more number of new target audience --> Get new customers

6. Retarget/Remarket through Ads, Automations to keep the users visited website or social media to purchase your products.

7. Your complete marketing strategy should focus to increase CLV (customer lifetime value) of each customer by framing,

- Retention strategy
- Upselling methods
- Referral programs

That's the cheat sheet to scale your business from nothing.

Marketing is not a sprint; it's a marathon.

Come out of the myth that, "Investing in digital medium will give 10x immediately"

I would say, even 1 year is immediate.

It's marathon that needs consistent efforts by,

- Test A/B campaigns
- Analyze data, and interpret the actions.
- Implementing new strategies.

Do, Do, Do, until you get the result, and speed up the process once you achieve the result.


Hard truth!!!


There are more profiles "helping founder grow 2x" is found in LinkedIn than "founder" profiles

Market is over crowded.

My gentle advise if you're one among them,

Learn the skills that are in high demand, high payable, yet hard to find an expert.

Post that,

- Focus on a single skillset or niche

- Improve every day in the skillset, irrespective of any hurdles or bad situation

- Be consistent in developing and implementing the skill for next 3-4 years (1000 hours)
 
When you become expert in high-demand skill, where there is a big vaccum on expertise level,

You can advance yourself by,

- Get more customers

- Increasing average order value

- Recurring incomes for a longer period.

Here are couple of skills that are in high demand that you can master,

1. SEO (Search engine optimization)

2. Google Ads

3. Data Scientist

4. Growth Marketing

5. Copywriting

6. UX/UI designer

7. Full stack developer

8. AI Engineers or Prompt engineers.

Start picking any of the high-demand skills, and start providing solution to the demand in the market.

Rather, fight for the low demand, and high supply market.
