As marketing director, I lead the marketing strategy and execution for Gryphon House, Inc., and its affiliated businesses. I oversee all activities and creative deliverables necessary to achieve and expand marketing and publicity functions within the company for all physical and digital products, including content management, product launches, event planning, public speaking, and influencer relations.

As The Variable's lead PR team member, I manage and direct strategic PR and social communication for the agency and its in-house innovation brands like Sunshine Beverages and Careolina.  My goal is to establish our agency as a group of thought leaders who are  propelling our industry forward.

Within this role, I manage and oversee daily workflow of agency and in-house brands' PR/social projects to ensure adherence to timelines, while being proactively responsive to ongoing communication needs. I directly support the associate director of business development in agency new business needs. 

I am responsible for building strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including agency leadership and peers; prospective clients and talent; local and national business, trade, and lifestyle media; and local business and philanthropic organizations to build trust, drive a process that brings exceptional results, and establish our team as thought leaders who are active in our community. 

Overall, my job is to foster great work, great ideas and great execution; and be the self-starting, strategic-thinking, entrepreneurial type.

Agency Communications

As The Variable's lead PR team member, I manage and direct strategic PR and social communication projects for the advertising agency and its clients, which range from consumer packaged goods to athletic apparel. 

Within this role, I manage and oversee daily workflow of client projects to ensure adherence to timelines, while being proactively responsive to ongoing communication needs. I am responsible for building strong, collaborative relationships with clients and agency peers to build trust and drive a process that leads to brilliant results. Overall, my job is to foster great work, great ideas and great execution.

I am the lead client contact for General Motors' Internal Communications. In this role, I assist the internal communications manager to plan and coordinate day-to-day logistics and execution of internal communications for executive leadership of Global Product Development leadership and its 30,000 global employees.

In this role, I am the lead internal communications contact for GM Research and Development, Design, Manufacturing Engineering and Global Planning and Product Management, and its leadership.

To provide a creative approach to a robust internal communications strategy, I leverage resources such as podcasts, newsletters, GM internal and external social media networks and face-to-face meetings.

Media relations responsibilities include: fostering relationships with key automotive, trade, business and lifestyle media; story mining, leading editorial planning meetings, composing news releases and blog posts of technical nature, coordinating announcement strategy and pitching, hosting interviews, and providing event support.

I created and maintained a weekly Saturday morning technology column, Nice Apps!, and was a regular contributor to the technology and business sections on breaking news, long lead infotainment and human interest stories. My unique and TNGG-sourced work has been featured in outlets including Millennial Momentum, PolicyMic and The Levo League.
