My passion is building relationships and encouraging, inspiring, and assisting people to achieve more than they thought possible. I thrive in an environment where attention to detail, coupled with creativity and corresponding action, are necessary to achieve organizational goals and directives. And I always enjoy a new challenge or learning opportunity. I excel at building a favorable, friendly environment, effectively explaining complicated information to the “common man,” and graciously diffusing confrontational conversations with customers. I treat each customer service encounter as an opportunity to aid and empower the customer. I am able to quickly and efficiently master complicated information, synthesize it, and use it to solve problems in the real world. I'm constantly asking, “how can this improve or be made more efficient?” This helps me to deftly identify skill deficiencies, knowledge gaps, or performance shortcomings in myself and others, and then act to resolve them. I can work independently and interdependently, and view collaboration with others as a way to increase perspectives and the chance of success. Throughout my career I have demonstrated strong administration skills, including, but not limited to, effective time management, goal setting, planning, leadership, training, management and inspiration, customer support and service, copyediting/proofreading, and working with Microsoft Office, G Suites, Slack, and MailChimp. When I'm not working, I enjoy curling up with a giant mug of tea and a good book, and have also been found painting, singing, playing the piano, researching random cool facts, gardening, or participating in outdoor sports (running and volleyball for the win).
