Human Resources Generalist and Payroll Administrator

•Assist in all Human Resources Functions (Recruiting, Onboarding, Benefits, Payroll and Tax, and Employee Engagement)
•Arrange & conduct the organization’s new hire orientation including the coordination of setup and participants, maintenance of materials, and presentation of HR related information.
•Create position postings in HRIS system for job vacancies ensuring efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on role, industry standards, and needs of the organization
•Full-Cycle recruiting; from vetting candidate resume to onboarding
•Advise managers and provide training as needed on HRIS system, best practices for interviewing, and selecting candidates who fit the qualifications and competencies for the position and reflect the core values of the organization
•Work with managers to extend employment offers and negotiate as needed with candidates
•Manage the receipt of required documents for potential new hires including facilitating the electronic application and new hire documents and process appropriate candidate assessments and background screenings
•Monitor the success of recruiting sources and compiling data on new hire and manager satisfaction with the recruitment & onboarding process
•Screen resumes and applications (volume: up to 300 resumes screened daily)
•Assist with mailings and ordering FedEx supplied as needed (Events, New Hires, Wellness, EE Engagement, Name Tags, etc)
•Coordinate and complete phone screens, On-Site interviews, Virtual Interview, and Phone Interviews for both hiring manager and our HR team
•Monitor multiple shared and personal professional email inboxes with a maximum strived turnaround time of 24 business hours
•Create New Hire onboarding templates and attachments 
•Creatively expand company morale with virtual and on-site events
•External Websites: Indeed, Ultimate Kronos Group/UKG, BetterTeam, State and College Job Boards, Symplicity Recruit, Handshake, and various Virtual Job Fairs

Interned to learn the following: 

•Administer the position requisition process to include collaborating with hiring managers on job description development, defining selection criteria and candidate competencies and acquiring approvals for recruitment.
•Create position postings in HRIS system for job vacancies ensuring efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on role, industry standards and needs of the organization.
•Assist managers as requested with reviewing and screening job applications.
•Advise managers and provide training as needed on best practices for interviewing and selecting candidates who fit the qualifications and competencies for the position and reflect the core values of the organization.
•Work with managers to extend offers of employment and negotiate as needed with candidates.
•Manage the receipt of required documents for potential new hires including facilitating the electronic application and new hire documents and process appropriate candidate assessments and background screenings.

Human Resources Intern

Vista Clinical - Clinical Reference Laboratory Services

- Training new employees and served as a mentor to them in our company processes, policies, and inner workings of medical industry including HIPAA policies
- Organizing, ordering, processing, and managing patient biohazard materials from over 100 nationwide Nursing and Rehabilitation Centers
- Created online accounts for new patients in online medical server (Orchard) to process requests 
- Daily administrative tasks included printing sensitive patient and physician information (order requisitions forms), faxes, phone calls to physicians and their offices, filing, document and order auditing, and 
- Daily medical tasks included daily sanitization, temperature tracking of specimens, loading and unloading centrifuge, pouring off and pipetting specimens for additional testing while following medial safe protocols, assisting with COVID swab processes for Lab Technicians, and following legal ICD-10 Code protocols.

Laboratory Assistant/Processor and Trainer 

Currently working as a single-person HR Department to handle all Human Resources Functions (Recruiting, On/off-boarding, Benefits, Payroll and Tax, and Employee Engagement). 
My role is performing tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the Human Resource Department as well as being responsible for helping to create and execute the recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and retention processes of talent.
