The pause of the COVID pandemic allowed space to shift my focus from pursuing the career I thought I “should” have to building the career I want to have. I’m so grateful to have landed at the library while continuing to explore self-employment. My professional experience was more recently in marketing communications. But my personal interest in culture, community, and media and digital literacy makes me excited to help people engage more critically with the information* we access through media and digital technology.
