I create and refine user-facing copy across our platform in collaboration with designers, developers, and product managers. I specialize in creating engaging and effective experiences.

• Write and edit user-facing copy across the product, including web and mobile apps, emails, notifications, and other communications.
• Research and test users to learn about what they like and don't like, and use that information to make the text better and easier to understand.
• Collaborate with the UX design team to ensure the words fit well with how the user interface looks and works.
• Continuously iterate and improve copy based on user feedback, data analysis, and best practices in UX writing.
• Assist in establishing and maintaining a style guide for copy used throughout the Schoox platform.

User Experience (UX) Writer

I assisted in building relationships with marketing partners, facilitating communication with strategic partners, and executing influencer marketing campaigns to reach new audiences. 

• With the help of 15 fitness instructors, we attracted more than 5,000 participants and completed the first Planksgiving mini-challenge.
• Made influencer campaigns easier to organize by sharing internal presentations with relevant content creators for campaign selection.
• Taught creators about campaign objectives, creative direction, deadlines, and approval of content submissions.
• Reviewed monthly and quarterly marketing reports to provide comprehensive insights on how our content is performing, our consumer audience and their behaviors, our competitors' strategies, and the best practices within our industry.

VOX ATL

VOX is Atlanta’s home for uncensored teen publishing and self-expression. The nonprofit organization produces a teen newspaper, activates community programs like Girls Group and Graduation Countdown, and runs a multimedia and journalism summer program for teens ages 13-18 living in metro Atlanta over the summer.

This unique platform helped me find my voice when I was in high school and introduced me to my destined career path in public relations and digital marketing.

I give back to the organization as a member of their alumni council, where I help strategize alumni outreach initiatives. I was also a co-coordinator for VOX's 2nd annual fundraising event, First Draft, in June 2016.
