I lead the Financial Crimes Solutions practice including Bank Secrecy Act compliance offerings, anti-money laundering and sanctions services, fraud investigations, and anti-bribery and corruption services.  I also provide assistance with internal audit and regulatory compliance services for financial institutions.

Financial Crimes Solutions Practice Leader

As the head of strategy and product for the consulting service line at Baker Tilly, I led a team focused on developing and executing organic and inorganic growth strategies and building a client-centered approach to developing, launching, and managing new market offerings and products across the entire consulting and advisory service line.  I also developed and led the strategic planning process for all consulting and advisory service lines including the development and measurement of OKRs and monitored internal and external KPIs to inform business decisions.  I assisted with integrating merged in firms and ensuring success of the combination and drove several strategic initiatives for the Managing Partner of Consulting. I was also the acting International Business Lead between Baker Tilly US and our global office Baker Tilly International.

Built and led three teams of high-performing analysts and strategists focused on identifying opportunities for innovation and expansion - empowering client acquisition, retention, and experiences.

CX:  Focused on injecting the VOC across the entire organization and building best-in-class experiences.  Governs and executes client feedback processes including NPS, VOC, and primary research activities. 

Go-To-Market Strategies:  Leveraging an outside-in approach, executes large-scale, strategic primary and secondary research projects focused on identifying key trends impacting our industry and clients to help inform leadership and all GTM team members on organic and inorganic growth opportunities.  Also develops strategies in support of innovation (new product/service development), new market exploration and M&A prospect identification, as well as post-transaction integration and joint GTM. 

RevOps:  Using a consultative approach, responsible for identifying opportunities for growth leveraging attribution reporting and analytics.  Also builds models for revenue and churn forecasting.

Director, Growth Strategies

Right-hand to the Managing Partner Growth & Specialization (now Growth Strategies).  Worked alongside the firm’s industry practice leaders, technology, finance, marketing, and sales leaders to oversee special projects with the singular goal of growth.  Experience includes participation in firm-wide and industry practice strategy development and execution, development of dashboards for measuring revenue growth and attribution, facilitation of strategic growth initiatives, M&A integration, participation in development of firm innovation function, and implementation and enhancement of sales enablement tools including Salesforce.com.   Also oversaw the strategic planning process and development of OKRs for the firm’s industry practices and sales and marketing teams.

Key Accomplishments:
- As ABODO's customer experience leader, I was the in-house advocate for a rapidly growing customer base, overseeing implementation and all post contract customer interactions and services and led a team of 13 staff members.  I worked with product, sales, marketing, and operations to ensure customers achieved their goals with the platform.
- Coordinated first annual ABODO Summit for all clients in the Madison area.
- Developed dashboard for monitoring revenue concentrations, trends in recurring revenues, client churn risk factors, new product performance, client outreach efforts, etc.
- Oversaw the roll out for the largest new product for Madison clients

ABODO is a Series A funded start-up based out of Madison, WI providing a hyper-local and listing-rich online marketplace of rental properties.  ABODO connects renters and property managers across the US with a beautifully simple platform.

- Prepared tax returns for high net worth individuals, a large publicly traded healthcare corporation, and non-profit country club associations.

I bring a unique perspective working with businesses across the maturity spectrum, having spent many years both in public accounting and advisory roles, as a Chief Risk Officer at a bank, and at an early-stage start-up.
