I lead a project investigating the biological mechanisms of attention and decision making. Specifically, I use high-resolution imaging to monitor the activity of large populations of neurons in the brains of mice as they perform visual tasks. I then perform various analyses on these large datasets to elucidate how the representation of visual information in the brain changes with attention and in different decision making contexts.

As a research technician in psychiatric disease-focused research group,  I worked on several projects to study the molecular and electrophysiological mechanisms of geneticially-defined diseases. My role also involved coordinating the collaboration between labs at multiple institutions within and outside of Johns Hopkins and mentoring new lab members and visiting scientists on the cutting edge techniques unique to our lab.
