Some news hits differently.
And this one… broke me.

A few days ago, a shocking and heartbreaking incident came from Malegaon, Maharashtra.

A 24-year-old man was arrested for harming an innocent child — reportedly out of revenge against her father after a personal dispute.

I’m not going into details.

Not because they aren’t important…
but because they’re too painful and honestly, too triggering to describe here.

But this incident forces us to look at something we rarely talk about: How broken relationships create broken actions.

- Revenge.
- Ego.
- Unresolved conflicts.
- Unmanaged anger.
- Personal disputes that turn poisonous.
- Human emotions, when left untreated, can turn into something horrifying.

And while one person committed the crime, the root of it is the emotional damage, the inability to handle conflict, and the lack of empathy is something our society deeply struggles with.

Because let’s admit it:

We don’t teach emotional regulation.
We don’t teach conflict resolution.
We don’t teach people how to deal with hurt without hurting others.

We raise people to suppress emotions…
but never to understand them.

If anything, this tragedy is a painful reminder that:

The real crisis isn’t just a crime.
It’s the relationships we fail to heal.
The anger we fail to address.
The empathy we fail to build.

My heart goes out to the victim’s family.
No words can fix what they’re going through.

But as a society, we can do better.

We must do better.

Because healthy relationships with ourselves and with others don’t just create love. They prevent darkness.

Here’s the part nobody tells you:
You are STILL lovable.

Not after you heal.
Not after you fix yourself.
Not after you become “strong enough.”

But right now.
With all your cracks.
All your scars.
All your stories that hurt to remember.

The world made you believe you’re “too much.”

Life may have made you feel you’re “hard to love.”

But hear me out 
You’re not too much.
You were just carrying too much.

And you still kept going.
That itself is loveable.

What’s one thing you wish someone had told you during your toughest phase?

You didn’t fall for the wrong person.
You just wanted the wrong person to choose you.

So when they say ….
It's not love, it's attachment
Never expect anything from me
I respect your feelings, we can be good friends
I don't love you, please leave me

Every rejection feels like the same sentence on repeat.

And honestly… it hits like a punch to the chest.

The worst part?
You start believing it’s your fault.

You start thinking:
“Maybe I ask for too much.”
“Maybe I’m not worth choosing.”
“Maybe love isn’t meant for me.”

In reality, rejection doesn’t break you.
The stories you tell yourself after the rejection do.

You weren’t “not good enough.”
You weren’t “too much.”
You weren’t “hard to love.”

You just wanted the wrong person to choose you.
And they didn’t.
That’s all.

One day, someone won’t say:
“Please leave me.”
They’ll say:
“I’m staying… because I choose you.”

Breathe.
Feel.
And remind yourself:
You deserve a kind of love that doesn’t make you beg for commitment.

You can be easily replaceable.
Read that again.

I’ve seen this happen way too often.

Two people fall in love.
They give their best in the beginning.
Calls, effort, presence, warmth sab kuch.

And trust me love doesn’t survive on autopilot.

Because the moment you stop choosing them…you start losing them.

Love isn’t a “find once and relax forever” thing.

It’s a daily choice.
To show up.
To appreciate.
To communicate.
To make them feel valued.

I’ve seen people lose the “best” person in their life…not because someone better came along…but because they took the existing one for granted.

“You are hard to love.”
That’s what my closest friend told me one evening.

For a second, I froze.
Like… seriously? me?

So I asked him, “Why do you think this way?”

He took a pause.
Then he said something that hit a little too deep:

“I feel like you don’t let people in.
You care… but from a distance.
You love… but with walls.
You show up… but only till it feels safe.”

And honestly?
I felt that.

So yeah…
I accepted it.
I am hard to love.

It’s because I’ve lived through things that taught me to be careful.
To observe first.
To trust slowly.
To protect my heart like it’s the last fragile thing I own.

People see the walls…
but they don’t see why they were built.

They see the distance…
but not the fear of losing someone again.

If someone truly tries to understand me…
they’ll realise I love deeper, softer, and more honestly than most.

They just have to stay long enough to see it.

P. S. Sometimes you’re not hard to love you just need someone who understands your language.

“You’re a man, deal with it alone.”
I’ve heard this line so many times and it still hurts every single time.

The truth is ....

From childhood, men are told:
 “Strong ban.”
 “Smile karke handle kar.”
 “Don’t be emotional.”
 “Don’t be sensitive.”

And they grow into men who carry heartbreak silently, fight battles alone,
and suppress their voice even when it’s shaking.

Society has no rulebook that protects a man's emotional well-being.
 
But it has a thousand unwritten expectations that silence him.

In relationships too, men often love openly but break privately.
They hold the family together but struggle to hold their own fears.

This Men’s Day, here’s what every man deserves to hear:

You’re allowed to feel things deeply.
You’re allowed to ask for help.
You’re allowed to cry, rest, and express.
You’re allowed to be human not a machine.

To every man who shows up, provides, loves, and keeps going even when it’s hard:
You don’t have to “deal with it” alone.
Your voice matters.
Your emotions matter.
YOU matter.

2. Reflect deeply. Ask what did this relationship teach me about myself?
3. Rebuild slowly. New habits. New boundaries. New energy.

The next time love comes your way, you’ll either repeat the same story 
 or write a better one.

Your choice decides whether a breakup becomes your ending or your rebirth.

So heal yourself.
So that when someone tries to love you…you don’t hold them hostage for someone else’s mistakes.
You let love in without losing yourself again.
