Business focus: nil (no one with an MBA besides me). I realised then that companies who make heavy investments in the powerful Salesforce platform, typically have limited in-house know-how to harness its potential. They needed an injection with: the art and craft of marketing automation; the how-to bible of becoming efficient; a new set of values to become customer-centric service organisations. In short, companies need skilled business and online marketing support well beyond the typical technical brief. This realisation was a turning point; I founded CloudAnalysts to provide Salesforce consulting augmented extensive knowhow in business strategy and digital marketing. I was able to leverage my expertise built up over the 10 years prior to moving into the Salesforce world. This felt right.
