I am a dynamic and engaging media professional with proven experience as an on-air TV Host and Presenter, Anchor and Producer. I pride myself on my writing, production and project management skills, and have a strong passion for storytelling. My diverse background is an asset to any position I take on, whether it be highlighting community initiative, reporting from the red carpet, or handling crisis communications from a breaking news scene. I have also gained unique perspective as a female working in professional sports, as well as a parent volunteer working in my children's schools. In addition, I add personal cultural insight as a Filipino-American, with strong ties to minority communities. My professional experience includes live and recorded interviews with high profile guests, like celebrities Meryl Streep and John Travolta, as well as CEO's Mark Cuban and Barbara Corcoran. I am also well-versed in producing and creating innovative content for television, web and other digital platforms. In my work I have found success executing branded and sales integrated content, along with supervising entire broadcast and digital TV productions. One of my strong points is as a thought leader, to make meaningful suggestions on how to better execute and deliver the projects I work on, beyond the status quo. I enjoy researching and identifying ways to connect the dots, looking for opportunities to grow my platform, and create "wins" all around. As an industry veteran, I also serve as a mentor to the next generation of communications professionals, and it's important to me to help them grow and be ready for the next level. I am proud to have received recognition for my volunteer work in with non-profit organizations in the community, and have received awards for my outreach and fundraising efforts with parent/teacher organizations, as well as for using my voice, and was honored to be named one of Brickell Magazine's "Top 20 Under 40" in 2014. And of course, I regularly fulfill my Mom duties as the "team Mom" for my children's baseball and basketball teams, also writing and connecting with others about my parenting experiences on my blog "53 weeks."
