As interim CPO post-acquisition by Liberta Partners, I led the transformation of the purchasing department into a category management structure:
- Swiss Market / FY23 > CHF100Mio NMV / top 10 e-commerce platforms in Switzerland / Fashion, Home & Beauty Categories
- Designed and implemented a new buying & planning organization and processes
- Managed a team of 12 across all categories and business models (firm stock, dropship, reservation)

Internetstores: Former leading European online retailer specializing in Bike & Outdoor equipment, operating 5 e-shops across 18 countries with €1 billion+ NMV. Key sites included Fahrrad.de, Bikester, Brügelmann, Probikeshop, Camps, and Addnature.

Built and led the Merchandise Planning function during a strategic turnaround phase.

- Hired and managed a team of 4; structured all core planning processes: budget, forecasting, performance tracking, pricing & replenishment
- Oversaw planning across all e-commerce platforms covering 85% cycling / 15% outdoor, 300+ brands, €1B NMV 
- Reduced overstock inventory by 75%.
- Actively supported restructuring and insolvency procedures after SIGNA’s bankruptcy (due diligence, cost-cutting, operational handover)

Built and scaled the Buying & Planning department during high-growth post-funding phase and through severe supply chain constraints (post-COVID inventory crisis).

- Drove assortment strategy across €20M NMV business, 330+ brands, multiple sports categories and 12 international markets
- Built the Buying & Planning team from the ground up (8 people), implementing tools and routines: budgeting, forecasting, reporting, steering
- Collaborated cross-functionally with Logistics, Marketing, Finance, and Key Suppliers

Buying & Merchandise Planning Director

Salomon

Drove product merchandising strategy for Salomon’s Outdoor footwear category across global markets and supported the rollout of the Global Merchandising function as key strategic initiative for the brand starting 2019.

- Own Global Merchandise Strategy for €30Mio / 35% of Salomon Turnover.
- Led seasonal line planning, segmentation, and assortment building in collaboration with Product Creation, Sales, Marketing and D2C teams within I2P process.
- Implemented Pre-Line process with Key Strategic Partners (Zalando, REI, Intersport, Decathlon) to ensure alignment and commercial success.
-  Partnered with regional Go-to-Market to align global vision with local needs and ensure successful sell-in and sell-through.
