I work as a member of a very diverse global team serving Four major Enterprise customers in the Automotive, Retail and Oil and Gas industries. As these customers' key technical focal point in LATAM, I am responsible for architecting and designing scalable, resilient, modern workloads for solving business challenges that can range from on premises massive data centers migrations carrying a mix of off-the shelf systems from SAP, to more innovative, state-of-the-art workloads like Predictive Maintenance or Connected Car solutions

While serving these customers, am also fortunate to guide them through their AWS cloud journey, connecting them with Technical/Architecture Best Practices, Workload samples (executing Proof of Concepts where needed), marrying their business and IT strategies, where I combine Partners and Programs within AWS that can help executing the needful.

Enterprise Solutions Architect

ExxonMobil

Leading technically a global team distributed in many places worldwide (Brazil, Europe, USA and Thailand) of about 30+ members. Responsibilities include establishing coding practices for developing web applications in a stack composed of primarily .NET Core (C#), Angular, React and iOS, conducting experiments for cross-platform technologies such as ReactNative, developing technology visions and architecting solutions for the specific areas within Manufacturing and providing guidance for developing Modern Applications (JAMStack like) in Cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure

Also responsible for leading development guidelines for both our Cloud and Mobility space, for which the latter am accumulating the function of being a Mobility Architect within our portfolio.

Solutions Architect

Spearheaded an IT project for developing a Data Science oriented Manufacturing industry global solution combining both Scrum Master, Solution Architect and Project Manager roles for a diverse team of 7 people including Data Scientists, Front, Back-end developers and Data Engineers. 

As a Solution Architect, designed and assisted with developing as well as maintaining development quality of Front-end (developed in a combination of Angular, Angular material and other internal component stacks) and Back end (developed in Python/Flask). Nevertheless, was responsible for ensuring that solution was delivered in a DevOps mindset by building CI/CD pipelines in a combination of RedHat Openshift (including Docker containers) and TFS for automating deployments and their testing. 

As a Scrum Master/Agile Coach, went above and beyond by intensively contributing with the business while grooming Product backlogs at the same time helping them designing solution workflows. Conducted project as a fully fledged SCRUM initiative by quickly identifying roadblocks that both business and development team would eventually have, planned Sprints ensuring adequate team pace via interpreting a combination of average past Sprint velocity and Burndown charts.

Finally, continued to manage Project Manager duties by ensuring that deliverables would be crafted in time while identifying potential project resource demands

Scrum Master / Solution Architect / Junior Project Manager

Continued to coach from a technical perspective a team that now increased to 20+ developers  by establishing development standards, assisting where necessary, determining priorities and developing improvements to make support more efficient for both developer and business peers.

Also participating in side projects to design, architect and implement new solutions as needed, tutoring other developers in the process. Coordinating smaller projects using Agile processes such as SCRUM, RAD and XP concepts where applicable. Contributing to define application roadmap, development as well as sustainment group strategies 

Finally, spearheaded a pet project of my own initiative for automating database implementations using a combination of a RESTFul API in .NET with a TFS CI/CD Release Management extension on the front-end (written in Powershell) in lieu of delivering a more efficient DevOps pipeline for my team and globally across the company.

Technical Lead

Remaining in the US as an expatriate, coaching from a technical perspective a team of 4 developers, establishing development standards, assisting where necessary, determining priorities and developing improvements to make support more efficient for both developer and business peers. Also participating in side projects to design, architect and implement new applications as needed, tutoring other developers in the process. Coordinating smaller projects using Agile processes such as SCRUM, RAD and XP concepts where applicable.

As an expatriate resource, contributed as a Technical Expert to develop, design, coach developer resources as well as manage standards when deploying globally deployed large and complex applications developed in .NET, architected in MVVM, which UI were WPF based, with architecture including components such a Smart and a Standalone Client, RESTful WCF services and ASP.NET pages.

Applications deployed by the project were very complex from both business and technical perspectives, using several frameworks to improve maintainability such as MEF, PRISM and ClickOnce. Also assisted leveraging these deployed projects and their knowledge to their future support team.

Technical Subject Matter Expert

Supported bigger global time sensitive/critical applications developed in .NET, being allocated at the same time to contribute for medium and large scale projects as a Technical Quality Assurance contact as well as a developer depending upon project needs. Provided technical consulting and coaching and projects as needed.

System Analyst

Supported time sensitive/critical applications developed in .NET and Oracle Forms. Organized and managed vendor based application projects for globally implemented applications. Started managing/coaching small development teams for small application projects.

Provided technical support for over 20 small to large inhouse developed applications in diverse technologies, such as Classic ASP, .NET, VB6. Also participated in project development for a small/medium .NET and Classic ASP based projects. During this time, provided technical consulting for specific business areas in order to develop solutions for their issues. Main customers were from USA and Canada but also provided support for users in other locations of the world as needed.

Contributed specifically by developing modules in Delphi for applications that manage lawsuits and school materials for companies based in Brazil.

Supported small-medium rated systems developed mainly in Delphi 7, providing solutions for pinpointed system issues. Among them, a propaganda management system for the marketing company called "Via-Mais"

Internship

Brazil/EU citizen with a Computer Science background, I strive to be a better developer and learn about new technologies every day. While I really enjoy being always in tune with all areas, I am particularly excited about Information Security and Artificial Intelligence. 

For living, nowadays I have been more involved in application development and design, which are also areas I am passionate about. My ongoing goal is to continue improving my skills to remain in sync with the IT market and be recognized by teams as someone who could always be considered to fill Solutions Architect or Engineering positions.
