Yesterday, I had a call with the founding SDR at Storylane.

Akshaya Ravi is an upcoming talent in the SaaS industry, and she is building a great strategy for her team! 

We went over schedule, power blocks, and how to have a winning mentality. 

There is much to learn from both sides, and I am delighted she reached out to me. 

This wonderful call ignited Akshaya's interest, and she even wrote a post about it (go check it out)!

Thanks to her post, I was able to make over 40 new connections, including CEOs and Founders who fall under my ICP. 

So, if you ever doubted the power of connecting and helping others. 

Don't make that mistake again.

Just got off a call with Augusto.

We had a great discussion about everything outbound.

I got mind blown by how he structures his day - the man wakes up at 5 am every day! 🤯 

No wonder why he is a consistent performer at Ontop

Some of the things that I can take away from our call are
- LinkedIn blank connection request works better
- Voice notes are an underrated hack
- Have a 10+ step sequence with a gap of a day or two to stay on top of the mind of your prospect

The enthusiasm and energy he carries with himself is so infectious!

You know they have intent and are checking your emails, messages, and voicemails. 

Send them a video and really pop, shine, and be different from the rest.

Your post might not attract your prospect. 

But it might attract someone else from that company. 

Share and put the spotlight on you 

One of my biggest deals was thanks to a manager checking my profile. 

Later, I saw that he works in Argentina, and his HQ is in the US. 

Don't think twice: Send it. 

A simple voicenote: Hey buddy, I saw you are an international contractor. Are you using any payroll software at this moment? 

After getting some insights on their pains. 

That same Friday, I added the CFO and hit him with a voicenote: 
I know you are using the software XYZ. They charge more and deliver less. Do you have any cost-saving plans for 2024?

Digging into his pain right away showed why I was reaching out and that my research was done correctly. 

The CFO thanked me for sending the voicenote and asked for a DEMO

However, I am still waiting for a positive response this week. 

I only had a few connections, even busting 70+ calls. 

As it has always been, patience and consistency will prevail.

I have sent around 212 voicenotes and 34 responses so far. 

Yep, more than 15% 

That's why I push people to do it.
