With over 20+ years of experience as investor, advisor, lawyer and entrepreneur, I have developed a strong expertise in venture capital, corporate/M&A, fintech, and innovation. I have co-founded and invested in 25+ startups, advised and mentored other entrepreneurs, and helped corporates and investors navigate legal and strategic issues in the Latin American startup ecosystem. Previously led billion-dollar cross-border transactions in M&A, corporate and project finance. For the last 3 years I've been fully immersed into the startups and venture capital ecosystem, as the Managing Partner of QAPU Ventures, a micro-VC fund operator and advisory firm that invests in pre-seed and seed stage startups from Latam and helps corporates develop innovation and corporate VC strategies; the founder and lead counsel of LeiOS, a legaltech for startups in Peru, focused on business and technology; and served as board member of PECAP, the Peruvian Venture Capital Association, and as the director of the Peru Venture Capital Conference, the main VC conference in Peru and a highlight in Latam (1,00+ attendees).
