I've had eclectic career in these 20+ years of experience. While building a career as a corporate/M&A/fintech lawyer and leading billion-dollar cross-border transactions in M&A, PE and project finance, I discovered my entrepreneurial side, built an innovation lab at the most prominent law firm in Peru, co-founded a couple of ventures on the side and started investing in startups. So for the last almost 4 years I've been fully immersed into the startups/venture capital and fintech ecosystem, as the Managing Partner of QAPU Ventures, a micro-VC fund operator and advisory firm that has invested in 20+ pre-seed and seed stage Latam startups and helps corporates develop innovation and corporate VC strategies; the founder and lead counsel of LeiOS, a legaltech that helps fintech and other tech companies expand operations in Peru with an all-in-one solution; served for two years as board member of PECAP, the Peruvian Venture Capital Association, and as the director of the Peru Venture Capital Conference, the main VC conference in Peru and a highlight in Latam (1,00+ attendees); advised Latam entrepreneurs in their journey; and started building innovative businesses on my own.
