17 July 2042.

That was the date I had once envisioned, standing on a TED stage, sharing an idea worth spreading. 

Back then, I was an average boy from a small town, conditioned to believe that life equals difficulty, talent is measured by marks, and dreams are luxuries meant for others.

Then one moment changed everything. A book, The Power of the Subconscious Mind, whispered a truth I had never been taught: that the mind, when consciously directed, can redraw destiny. 

Visualization became my refuge, my rebellion, my first glimpse of a different self. 

What began as inner work soon turned into a calling, to understand the human mind and eventually guide others through the same awakening.

The road ahead wasn’t gentle. Entrepreneurship tested patience. 
Failure taught humility. 
Persistence built faith. 
Slowly, rooms filled, cities expanded, stories poured in, of healing, courage, and lives rewritten. 

Purpose became clear: this work was never about success; it was about service.

Cut to 10th November, 2025. The day when the dream of being a TedX speaker finally came true. 

The dream was achieved 6154 days early. Was it simply my visualization like my first award or was it a manifestation of every sleepless night I've spent?

Maybe it was a combination of both! 
When I look at this vision that I drew for myself, I am humbled by the power of pure, untainted visualization. 

The not so aesthetically pleasing vision board but a very polished dream of my choosing. 

So remember folks, your 2042 could be your 2026 not just with the right vision board but with the right vision!

Or at least that’s what he thought before he started struggling with a high ticket client chase…

Like Ajit, that’s where seasoned professionals come at cross roads. 
Chasing a seemingly uncrackable client deal. 

Long hours, multiple follow-ups, endless revisions later they realised, they were following the rulebook to the T, yet the progress was nowhere to be seen. 

After critical analysis, we realised the issue wasn’t effort but lack of clarity, commonly seen as a goal setting conundrum.

Once that alignment happens, the change is immediate.

Decisions under pressure become cleaner, weekly priorities stop competing with each other, burnout reduces because effort is finally directional and goals stop exhausting the mind.

That’s a pattern I’ve seen in every coaching cycle and it echoed strongly in the recent trends of goal-setting rotating all over the internet as we approach 2026.

👉“Who are you becoming through your goals?” is the niche of goal-setting which gets asked around more often. 

And that subtle shift from wanting outcomes to shaping identity is the difference between enthusiasm in January and progress in December.

👉Here’s what actually changes when you set goals this way:

✓You stop chasing results and start nurturing habits that become you.

 ✓You don’t simply write goals but design your internal landscape so those goals take root.

 ✓You approach your year as a series of 90-day micro commitments instead of one overwhelming leap.

What's the most dangerous thing you say every day?

Vision board essentials

“I made a vision board… but I don’t think it knows who I am yet.”

He said this while stirring his coffee, almost casually:

He’s young and impressionable. 

First venture. 
Big ideas. 
Zero margin for error.

So I asked him what didn’t make it onto the board. 

The long days. 
The uncomfortable conversations. 
The discipline no one applauds. 

That’s when it clicked for him, his board showed the destination, but not the version of him required to live there.

I told him this: your subconscious doesn’t need more dreams. 

It needs rehearsal. 

It needs to know how you’ll move when energy drops, when doubt shows up, when progress is quiet. 

That’s what makes vision stabilising instead of overwhelming.

He paused, deleted a few images, and said, “This feels less exciting… but more honest.”

That’s the point. 

A vision that works grounds you.
