Hi! 👋🏻 So glad to see you here. A little about me! I’m the Senior Clinical Supervisor of The Better Center, which is a group private practice/therapy center. I help manage and direct all clinical aspects of the center, including interviewing potential hires, policy, trainings and providing supervision for all Clinicians. Reach out with any questions or to collaborate! Additionally, I have a small private practice. A little about that! I’m extremely passionate about everything therapy-related. I love working with people and helping people. And that comes across in my work! My style is interpersonal and friendly, warm and supportive. Additionally I’m known to be a goal-oriented and focused therapist who gets results! Some areas of specialty: Anxiety, Mood Disorders, Emotion Regulation, OCD, Parenting, Relationships, Panic Attacks, Phobias and Trauma. I’m also honored to provide therapy to other therapists and Clinical Supervision as well. Modalities that I’m well trained in include CBT, DBT and Schema therapy and also Mindfulness, EFT, EMDR, ACT and Gottman. I have also been employed at Chemed Health Center for over 12 years and enjoy being a therapist and supervisor there. Some professional background and experience: Avrohom Leffler is a graduate of Long Island University who has received extensive CBT training at the Beck Institute for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and OCD and anxiety training from the Tic, Trich and Anxiety Group at the University of Pennsylvania. His areas of expertise include anxiety, mood disorders, OCD, depression, effective parenting, and emotional regulation in children and adults. Avrohom has facilitated social skills groups for children and currently co-facilitates a DBT group. Additionally he has training in EFT, EMDR, EFT and is qualified to provide clinical supervision. He is frequently published in the Voice of Lakewood and enjoys speaking publicly about therapy, Wellness, Mindfulness and Productivity.
