Matium is the supply chain network and commodity market providing infrastructure to businesses across the North American supply chain for the purpose of improving the experience of working in the industry, eliminating waste in the supply chain, and creating a digital source of truth for calculating scope 3 and managing supply chain custody. 

I started the business with my cousin after living the life of a plastics trader managing 250 truckloads a month via email and phone and realizing that my problem was THE problem. The supply chain lacks the infrastructure to improve at the rate society needs it to.

Began working here on and off through college. In fall of 2016, I took over operations of the company as it was falling apart. I had no employees and no standard procedures to work with. In 2017, I grew the company from 1 employee (me) to 10, increased sales of the previous year by more than 200% to 850K for that season, and greatly improved the quality of work that the company was known for. Improvements and Modifications: Updated invoicing and payment system, updated website and marketing tactics, recruited and gained respect from skilled laborers of all ages and ethnicities, led the company in its first job worth over 150K, developed standards for employees to follow, implemented a new time-tracking and payroll system, expanded sales territory to areas with a higher median household income, and much more.
