I quoted 5-10 projects per month and managed manufacturing project life cycles including project logistics, onsite and offsite technical work, and customer communication. I used Solidworks and Geomagic Design X CAD software to reverse engineer consumer products, production tools, automotive parts, medical equipment, and more using traditional/solid modelling, as well as freeform/NURBS modelling techniques. I also provided detailed 3D part inspection using Polyworks Inspector. I operated short and long range engineering-grade 3D scanners to obtain and process as-built 3D data. I have successfully led 5 energy-related projects in Northern Ontario to support refurbishment of Ontario power plants.  I was responsible for hiring, training, and managing engineering interns and other technical team members.

I helped increase efficiency of jobs using the maintenance management system and work order forms to track and analyze repairs based on time, cost, tasks, and part availability. I updated Lockout-Tagout procedures, as well as the plant’s asset list, to improve plant safety and organization. I implemented TPM (total productive maintenance) and 5S strategies by educating workers through presentations and instructional how-to videos for autonomous equipment maintenance. I also, designed Excel templates to document maintenance report details.

I was responsible for managing the company web-shop and listing new items online by producing product descriptions, specifications, and prices. I also organized inventory in the warehouse for effective retrieval when needed and assisted customers with questions or concerns.

I managed and overlooked a team of 12 staff members and about 70 campers at an overnight summer camp where I communicated daily with staff and supervisors to give and receive feedback, provide updates, and resolve any major conflicts. I ran weekly meetings with staff to discuss any important issues or upcoming events and planned and organized monthly schedules for daily hour-long programs and weekly all-day events for campers. All major and minor incidents involving my staff and/or campers were logged and campers’ guardians were communicated with to provide updates or follow up with any relating concerns or issues.

I was involved in the fast-paced production, assembly, packaging, and shipping of wooden and acrylic furniture and display cases and, in doing so, performed processes including cutting, sanding, drilling, and cleaning furniture components in an assembly-line type environment.
