Supply Chain and Logistics Executive

• Responsible for entire Logistics Supervision apart from Managing the Commercial functions of the division right from the PO release, LC opening to inbound delivery.
• Demand Planning and Inventory management (PSI) of Principle Brands – Siemens, Smeg, Zanussi, Hostess, Terim,
Vestfrost, Wolf Power & Forbes.
• Negotiate to get the best prices from forwarders and service providers and planning to ensure smooth Logistical activities.
• Monitoring import/export processes to ensure compliance with regulatory/legal requirements in line with the norms of
Dubai Customs
• Handling of Import/Export documentations in Dubai Chamber / Dubai Trade portal.
• Responsible for all Letter of Credit (L/C) shipments and its documentations for LC negotiations associated with the Bank.
• Place Purchase orders with Principal Companies and monitor production schedules to meet the agreed lead time.
• Material management, price/promotion updates and re-orders in SAP ERP System and Retail Pro POS system
• Provide guidance on the process schedule besides mentoring team members, interns.

Logistics & supply chain Executive

Designation: Customs operations [Logistics]
(EFL) Expo Freight Logistics, Dubai.

Responsibilities

 • On Time processing of Bill of Entry in Emirsal II Dubai trade portal and lasing with Dubai customs for clearance.
 • Review and identification of customs documentation requirements.
• Review and processing of the different types of customs forms required for export/imports.
 • Effectively maintaining CDR/ SG accounts within the stipulated time frame in order to avoid fines.
 • Ensuring the accuracy of Customs clearance papers, ensuring on-time delivery schedule. 
• Follow up with customs for suspended bill to get approval with authentic requirements. 
• Ensuring the accuracy of HS code applied to every import/export shipment.
 • Keeping updated with HS code change, import-export procedure. 
• Ensuring on-time submission of customs clearance paper to authority. 
• Following up with customer for permits for duty exemption for import shipments.
• Maintain track of standing guarantee and duty deposit for Airfreight shipments in lasing with customs.
 • To ensure the Exit certificate and Standing guarantee are submitted on time and follow up with customs for refund claim
 • Efficient handling of customer service while coordinating with Internal and External clients.
 • Obtaining all customs inspection and CID approval for shipment documentation completion.

Air freight &  Customs Operations Executive 

GAC Group

•  Coordinates and executes all international import shipment bookings.
•Receives pre-alert for the shipments from agents.
•  Monitors import jobs, open job files, term confirmation and updating charges.
•  Track shipment ETA’s in advance in carriers tracking portal.
•    Works closely with all carriers and ensures clients are advised timely on arrival of shipments.
•  Sends arrival notice for shipment based on arrival of shipment.
•  Updates status to the customer on shipment status, delays in arrival and update cost details in systems.
•  Check airway bill status (original/copy) and freight details prior to arrival of shipment.
•   Ensure all required shipping documents are received before arrival of shipment.
•  Follow up for the documents and airline invoice to confirm cost in the system before issuing D.O to customer.
•  Validates the accuracy of commercial documents in advance if our clearance is required. 
•  Coordinates with origin for missing documents and shipment delays. 
•  Once arrival notice received from carrier, coordinate with carrier for transfer of shipment to our warehouse.
•   Coordinate with customer for the collection and payments of shipment.
•  Update all sect events and job notes ensures to enter cost and revenue accrual in time in system.
•  Coordinate with all other departments for clearance and delivery of shipment on-time meeting the customer satisfaction.

Logistics Executive

 Plan operations and Inventory control of warehouses for transportation-related functions, temporary holding and stock transfer.
 Preparing MIS reports and assist in critical decision making process.
 Dispatch planning and supervision.
 Utilize extensive knowledge and skill of transportation to significantly improve efficiency of deliveries and utilization of manpower.
 Liaise & co-ordinate with carriers / customers / warehouse / vendors, to ensure smooth delivery of shipments. 
 Ensure that stock inventory is maintained and correct auditing procedures are followed.

 Co-ordinate and execute procurement through GRN and issue of materials. 
 MIS Reporting, Transportation Planning, Preparing reports on Physical stock and daily dispatches. 
 Tracking Staff Performance, Training and Development.
 Work with various internal teams including accounting and shipping to track and monitor the stock at all inventory locations and reconcile any discrepancies.
