BABEL is a research unit established in the Department of Economics and Management at the University of Florence, Italy. The founders of BABEL aim to promote transdisciplinary skills which enhance research projects as well as lifelong and post-graduate training courses on DLTs, blockchains, smart contracts, and artificial intelligence. The goal is to support regulators in building a tailored regulatory scheme to favour both business and social applications of these new technologies and for helping users with the still open legal issues.
