Per plant farming will become the dominant farming system in the world by 2040. We aim to be the market leader in this space.

We're a team of 50 people who are revolutionising farming with an easy, low-cost, service of autonomous, precision agri-robotics for a healthier, more efficient and sustainable future.

The UN says that the world must produce 70% more food by 2050, without using more land or destroying more ecosystems. Operating a farm with tractors is no longer the best way to address this challenge. The raw technology already exists which could produce food more cheaply, more accurately and with less waste. 

To address this challenge we have brought together a team of farmers, professors, service designers and engineers to create an autonomous robotic farming system we call Farming as a Service (FaaS).

Partnered with IBM’s global clients on their most challenging technology infrastructure projects. During this time feedback from an IBM client led me to create a method whereby a mainframe’s startup sequence could be accelerated by temporarily activating its full processing power. Named “System Recovery Boost”, this became the major launch feature for the z15 generation of IBM’s mainframe family, and was further enhanced with z16.

Led IBM's mainframe technology businesses in the UK and Ireland across its hardware, software, leasing finance, and services business units. Worked with IBM's largest clients on a number of leading edge global programmes, taking IBM's mainframes into new areas of business including cloud and big data projects. During this time I worked with global marketing on innovations for new server products which launched as IBM LinuxONE.

Technical Director for IBM's hardware division in Northern Europe. Member of the management board with responsibility for over 200 professional services and technical sales professionals. Worked with a number of small and medium sized organisations (primarily in the retail and food manufacturing sectors) on a range of technology projects including logistics systems, retail point of sale, disaster recovery, and systems outsourcing. Then managed IBM's business with a small number of large international clothing manufacturing companies, with a particular speciality in those supplying Marks & Spencer.
