The combined company has an impressive 40-45% market share of the industry.  Led the conversion of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software to a world-class cloud-based platform (NetSuite).  Exceeded the EBITDA targets under the proforma plan.  Led the success-based refinancing over three years ahead of plan to reduce interest costs by over half, savings millions of $ per year.  Reduced insurance costs by over $100,000 annually.  Helped investors triple their value in the first year of combined operations.

Zochem LLC

Accomplished CFO for this industry-leading manufacturer of zinc oxide.  Led them through an acquisition of a Canadian producer to become the largest company in the industry.  Established finance, accounting, risk management and information technology platforms for the combined company.  Also successfully refinanced from the original mezzanine debt structure to a pure asset-based financing package and then to an open line of credit, saving millions in finance charges per year.

Raben Tire Company

Leading all financial activities for this tire retailer, wholesaler and retreader with 25 locations in the Midwest.  Assisting with Private Equity buyout of founding family.  Setting up accounting and reporting procedures to include reporting to the Board of Directors and the lead asset-based lending institutions.  Implementing accounting and finance controls.  Establishing budgets and forecasts to include cash flow projections.  Leading financial team for numerous acquisitions including due diligence and closing procedures.

Barry was the Chief Financial Officer of Zochem, LLC, one of the largest producers of zinc oxide in North America based in Dickson, Tennessee. Zochem, a private investor backed company, serves a diversified, multi-industry client base.  Zochem completed the acquisition of the Brampton, Ontario, Canada plant in September 2017.  Zinc oxide is used in various applications including tire and rubber, ceramic, chemical, pharmaceutical, agricultural and paint and coating industries.  Zochem built the first new zinc oxide plant in America in the past 20 years and is perhaps the most efficient producer in the industry due to its state of the art French Process, ISO9001 certified plant.
