Canary Homes was established by Barry Rea in early 2017. Barry is a former Chartered Surveyor and RICS valuer with over twenty years’ experience in the UK residential development market. Clients have included property companies, national housebuilders, public sector bodies and major housing associations. I started investing with an equity stake in a new build mixed use development at Crystal Palace Triangle, South London. We've built six 2 bed flats and a small office in a gated scheme. Residential completion was in Q1 2021. We then converted the office element to create a 7th residential unit following a successful change of use planning appeal in 2022.
