For the last 25 years, I have worked in both senior project manager and Infrastructure manager roles both interim and full-time. During this time, I have used my people skills, life experience and IT knowledge to bring together third parties, Stakeholders, senior managers and IT staff to deliver projects and install IT infrastructure to the highest standard possible making sure contracts are fully met while all the time maintaining commercial business awareness. Putting forward strategies to deliver mission-critical projects to insure the businesses succeed on day one and continue to succeed going forward. I can converse technical issues at all levels making sure everyone understands what is about to be undertaken and how that work will be carried out. I am passionate about getting good value for money for the business from any product that will integrate with the business now and going forward. I have put together SLA.s and strategies that are achievable and that the business can continue to work with. As Infrastructure Manager for the then-new ICT partnership for Morpeth and Alnwick Council and was responsible for the installation of any new solution ensuring solutions were aligned to fit the business strategy. Examples of this include delivering joint solutions of VoIP, VMware, CRM systems and new Domain structures. As Infrastructure Manager for Rutland Council and responsible for the relocation of many sites. This involved liaising with many suppliers on new network lines and telephony to again make sure it integrated with the current infrastructure. As Systems Operations Manager at Home Group, I was responsible for a new Disaster recovery solution for the Customer Services Centre. I worked and built up extensive working relationships with 3rd party suppliers to ensure the solution aligned with the business's current infrastructure and long-term strategy of cloud-hosted solutions. Enthusiastic about self-study and continuing self-development I have recently completed and passed my Agile Project manager foundation course and exam. I have knowledge of ITIL from working in ITIL environments but no formal certificate.
