As a Master’s student studying Human Geography at the University of Bristol and a Grant Administrator at the Centre for Sustainable Energy, I am extremely passionate about making a positive impact on the community and advocating for a sustainable future. In my role at the Centre for Sustainable Energy (CSE), I grant fuel vouchers to people experiencing energy poverty. This position requires strong attention to detail and teamwork, and has allowed me to make a direct, positive impact—something incredibly important to me. Liaising with and aiding clients and third parties with applications and queries has consolidated my verbal and written communication skills. Throughout my Undergraduate Geography degree at the University of Bristol, I have gained valuable skills and knowledge that I am excited to apply in the professional world, including exceptional written communication and time-management skills. During my final year, I also completed the Bristol PLUS Award, recognizing my commitment to professional development and proactive approach to enhancing my skills. Additionally, my background in customer service as a Sales Assistant facilitated the development of clear communication and collaboration skills, allowing me to deliver exceptional service to clients. I have built on these foundations to provide excellent service in a range of scenarios across various roles. Looking ahead, I aspire to utilize my passion and knowledge in geography and sustainability to pursue a career that champions impactful initiatives and projects, centering on community engagement and equity.
