Bearhug is the brand behind the distinctive black and orange bamboo joint supports and muscle sleeves. I suffered my first serious knee injury at 15 years old. I battled on through injuries an operation and iterations of knee support solutions until my competitive playing days ended 5 years later. Later in life when trying to get my aching middle aged body moving again the market offering hadn't developed in over 20 years and along with my original co-founders decided there needed to be something better. Inspired by our own suffering and of those around us, along with the the lack of character in the sterile marketplace the Bearhug community was born.
