Bearhug is the brand behind the distinctive black and orange bamboo joint supports and muscle sleeves. Created from our unique bamboo yarn, the products offer unrivalled comfort and superior warmth from a renewable resource. The current core range consists of wrist, elbow, knee & ankle joint supports along with calf & thigh muscle sleeves. Bearhug was founded in 2016 when my co-founder Gareth was battling with a long-term ankle injury that was threatening to put an end to his rugby playing days. Not one to lie down and accept defeat this kicked off a worldwide search until we found a support that could get him back out there and Bearhug was born to shake up the sterile marketplace. In the UK 1 in 3 Men and 1 in 2 women are not active enough for good health.*​ Our mission is to create an inclusive supportive community connected through activity.​ Since the launch, we have created a growing community of 37,000+ Bearhug pack members across social channels and mailing lists.
