- Wrote grant applications (secured $8,000 in funding to cover entire project)

Research Assistant

Asociacion para Liderazgo en Guatemala

- Co-founded and managed the International Collective of Restorative Practitioners, a membership network of restorative practitioners from across Latin America
- Created and coordinated communications strategy (newsletters, social media)
- Wrote training curricula and facilitated trainings
- Innovated and implemented fundraising strategy, formed several partnerships that will likely result in funding
- Researched and wrote grant applications (secured 10% of budget through new grants)
- Planned and led fundraising events (raised 15% of budget through crowdfunding campaigns and events)

- Co-created and lead training in restorative practice for NYC public school teachers
- Coordinated transformation of public school culture from punitive to restorative
- Facilitated community conferences, talking circles and restorative mediations
- Case managed the community conferencing program, working with court-involved youth, their families, those harmed to find a way to restore the harm done

Urban Resource Institute NYC

- Provided legal education clinics and legal assistance to survivors of domestic assault facing complications with immigration documentation
- Worked with clients on financial literacy and other things required for matriculating back into society without the abuser
- Translated legal documents/forms/info sheets from English to Spanish.
