There's a verse in the Bible that says this:

Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouth, 
but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, 
that it may benefit those who listen.

I think that's important and useful. Especially when what comes out of our mouths gets heard by people all over the world.

I know who some of you are, and sometimes I get to write things that I hope will be encouraging to you and might make your day just a little bit better.

But there are so many people that read what we each say. We'll never know what their particular needs are. We'll never know the things they're going through at home, or with parents, or with their children, or with their coffee order this morning, or with an unreasonable boss.

It's kind of like the quote, “be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle.”

I hope you feel warm kindness today, and if you are able, share it to those who also need it.
