My focus is on building propositions that succeed in competitive markets. I lead teams to deliver through relentless focus on service excellence, embedded innovation, and a culture where people are empowered, accountable, and valued.

A career highlight is transforming our Indian business from a 10-person team into a 550-strong, multi-country operation:
• Revenue increased 40x, with 20%+ year-on-year growth
• Clients grew from 3 to 100+
• Profitability sustained in double digits
• Achieved through clear vision, focused strategy, and disciplined execution.

I also led a multi-year R&D programme that improved service delivery, created client-facing solutions, and secured several million pounds in R&D tax credits; demonstrating how innovation aligned with consultancy can deliver real commercial value.

At group level, I contribute to global P&L performance, business governance, service excellence, and innovation strategy.

My leadership is anchored in five priorities:

OK is not OK

This morning I had the pleasure of attending Google Cloud’s Executive Brunch with #ThomasTuchel and #DanAshworth, delivered with the FA. What stood out was how many of their lessons from elite football apply directly to business and to the work we are doing at Gleeds.

What really resonated with me:

• Leadership is like holding a dove; too tight you break it, too loose it flies away.
• Focus on the problem, not the person.
• Be authentic, with clear roles and expectations.
• No ego. Team culture wins.

Their approach to data and AI also landed with me:

• An Innovation Hub having one place for information, enabling fast and accurate decisions.
• Real-time performance insights help winning.
• A simple message: AI won’t replace leaders but leaders who embrace AI will.

The message that stayed with me most: “OK is not OK.” You must keep raising the bar if you want to win.

Whether on the pitch or in a global consultancy, success comes from mindset, culture and continuous improvement which is exactly what we are driving through Service Innovation at Gleeds.
