Established in 2016 by Samoan, Tongan and Fijian professional rugby players, Pacific Rugby Players Welfare is a not-for- profit organisation that provides assistance to 100+ Pacific Island players throughout the UK, contributing to their success both on and off the field.

Right To Play

Based in the London office of the Sport for Development NGO Right To Play working as Sports Relations Manager.
The new role involved creating a team of Athlete Ambassadors and working alongside them as spokespersons for the charity.

I recruited and managed the involvement of a team of 70 international athletes and several sporting organisations, including Chelsea FC, Harlequins Rugby and Sir Mo Farah, Chemmy Alcott, Tim Brabants, Andy Murray, Sebastien Foucan, Ugo Monye, Sir Alastair Cook, Anne Keothavong, Jose Mourinho and Michael Essien.
 
- Managed the 6 year partnership with Chelsea FC. 
Multi faceted role, working with all stakeholders from CEO down.  
This involved:
Field trips - Organising every aspect of field trips to Ghana and Jordan. Including but not exclusively initial reconnaissance, travel logistics, security, media, games.
Academy role - several aspects to this role including working closely with the academy to develop young players and ensure they were involved in the charity, providing and assisting coach a RTP from the ME team to play in the Cobham Cup, staff involvement in the charity, fund raising on behalf of RTP.
First team role - shirt sponsorship in Champions league, use of RTP red football on pre-season tours, multiple media events and interviews with RTP sign off, 5 a side tournaments at Stamford Bridge, corporate events. 

- Negotiated the relationship with Harlequins Rugby for RTP to be the beneficiaries of the Big Match. 

- Created and managed the Exposure Project with Nikon.
This involved providing ten athletes with cameras for a year where they took photos behind the scenes of their lives, culminating in an exhibition, auction and online e-commerce project. 
Negotiated the arrangement with Nikon for 10 cameras and sponsorship of the project. 
Project managed the building of the website and e-commerce platform and all aspects of the event, including the exhibition and all aspects of sponsorship, media and rights.
