How do you win the founder's time?
That's what I discussed at lunch today with Orr Levit from Practical Vision. 

I hadn't met Orr in years. Back at Elementor, he was the one expert who could sort the chaos of our massive marketing machine. Now he runs his own agency, which means he thinks about founder time just as much as I do.

I shared my founder-led marketing process with Orr, and we discussed two possible alternatives of my service:

1️⃣ Weekly (my current method)
One hour a week.
A real conversation.
Content tied to what the founder actually believes today.

2️⃣ Monthly
One full content day.
Founder walks in, reads the script, walks out.

Both can work, depending on the business.

After our talk, I understand the logic of monthly much better, but still choose the weekly one.

💪 Weekly forces founders to articulate what they’re doing as they’re doing it.
💪 It keeps them sharp to product changes and customer signal.
💪 It builds the muscle they’ll need for everything that comes with real authority: podcasts, webinars, conference talks.
💪 Weekly also bleeds into the rest of the business:
sales calls, hiring conversations, investor decks.

Monthly can easily become a chore.
Weekly, on the other hand,  SHOULD be empowering.

If you have an immediate goal and the founder is super stressed with time - monthly might work.

But if you are truly building a founder brand that will continue to grow as the business scales, weekly is still the way to go.

Circle surveyed 750+ community builders, analyzed 18,000 communities, and interviewed 12 experts. 

Main takeaway: Digital overwhelm + AI-generated noise → people crave what feels real.

Here's what I took from there:

1️⃣ 67% of members join or stay because of shared identity and values.
Belonging has become a key reason communities stick, not just a nice-to-have.

2️⃣ 69% of respondents say member transformation is their #1 growth strategy.
It’s no longer about posting more, it’s about enabling real wins.

3️⃣ 48% of communities engage members pre-purchase
Community is no longer confined to “post-purchase support”, it starts earlier.

4️⃣ 39% of community builders plan to de-prioritise member growth in 2026.
Quality over quantity is becoming the focus.

5️⃣ 68% of respondents plan to expand their use of AI in 2026
Behind-the-scenes AI is becoming accepted, but not as a tool to replace humans.

The bottom line:
2026 is about real connections and IRL marketing.

This morning, while preparing for a lecture I’m giving today about Linkedin strategy, I had a question on my mind:
 Is AI making posting on social redundant? 😳

So here is the new intro I added to the lecture: 

1️⃣ Before the internet, thought leadership lived on conference stages.
 Marketing lived in catalogs.
 That was the entire game.

2️⃣ Then the internet arrived.
 Suddenly people could broadcast their ideas.
 They could market through websites.
 And they could reach millions instantly.

 People tried to game that new system (SEO people mostly)… but it was hard.
 Because high-quality content was still difficult to duplicate,
 and algorithms were getting better and better at recognizing what was real.

3️⃣ Then came AI.
For the first time, you could produce endless content that was an exact doppelgänger of the original thought leadership piece.

All without the actual thought, or the actual leadership, or the actual expertise.

 Nowadays AI still isn’t fully mature.
 It does fool people.
 But not everyone.

 Creators who actually have something to say still stand out,
 because AI still seems weird or generic most times.

Eventually AI will get so good you won’t be able to tell the difference.

BUT! audiences will adapt.

When everything is “high quality,” people start looking for something else. Maybe conferences again, maybe books, maybe sticking to human recommendations.

So what does that mean regarding my question?
Yes, it still makes sense to post. 
Because when the audience shift channels, you'll be able to adapt, and continue with what you've been doing, sharing thoughts that influence people.

Another way to look at it: ChatGPT has been around now for a few years now, and while it gave people answer to any question they might have, people are much more confused nowadays.

Now more than ever, people crave human assistance from others who’ve actually done the work and can help make sense of the chaos.

My founder journey takes me to new adventures. 

I officially started my founder led marketing business a month ago. 

— why am I picking wine? —

Because I’m hosting a dinner party tonight. 

One of my decisions was to transition from marketing expert to CEO not by staring into screens more hours but by going out and communicating with friends, connections and potential clients. 

This is the first dinner party where I invited different people from different worlds to my home. 

Being a successful CEO means challenging your communication and social skills and that’s what I’m trying to do today.

1️⃣ Key thing I learned about LinkedIn founder branding:
It's completely different from regular content-creator branding.

We all fall into the trap. You see a post with 400 likes and immediately think:
 "I should do THIS!"

But if you start publishing based on what gets likes, you’ll almost always dilute your positioning and weaken your reputation as a founder.

Your audience will quietly think:
 "This is what she spends her time on??"
Not a good look.

Instead, founders need a plan with intentional milestones:

1. CONTEXT BUILDING
Make sure anyone who visits your profile instantly understands:
 • What’s your product?
 • Who is it for?
 • What problem does it solve?
 • What’s your expertise?
 • Why should they trust you?
This is the foundation. Without context, nothing else matters.

2. CONSISTENCY
Make sure you show up week after week. This is important for your audience trust, but also for your own momentum.

Not every post needs to be a masterpiece, but every post should reinforce your expertise, POV, and connection to the problem space.

3. EXPANSION
Grow your reach strategically:
 • Collaborations
 • Podcasts
 • Guest appearances
 • Panel discussions
 • Commenting thoughtfully on your category
 • Cross-posting content from your founder journey

If you think of these milestones instead of the popularity contest that is Linkedin, you are much more likely to not give up (and also have fun while doing this).

P.S. The visual example is just one example. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with Will's post, or that there is no way a CEO can post this. I am only referring to the habit of copying content based on popularity.
