BSFA is a paraplanning services company which is passionate about raising the quality of financial advice.

In an industry subject to an increasing volume of legislation and regulation, it has become progressively more challenging (and time consuming) for advisers to keep up with compliance requirements while providing good advice and maintaining client relationships. Often, this results in a compromise in the quality of advice as there is either an excessive focus on compliance (resulting in bloated, difficult to understand advice) or the creation of ‘cookie cutter’ templated advice (which is easier to meet compliance standards for).

At BSFA, we believe that adhering to compliance requirements is the bare minimum and that ‘compliant’ advice does not necessarily denote good, value adding advice. Leveraging on our specialist knowledge and experience, our focus is to assist advisors prepare SOAs which are not just compliant, but also:
✔comprise results-based strategies (backed by detailed financial modelling); 
✔are presentation-worthy, utilising visual aids (graphs, charts, diagrams) where possible;  
✔and client friendly, written in easy-to-understand, concise language.

BSFA’s team of 12 currently provides paraplanning services to approximately 15 financial planning practices (50 financial planners) all over Australia, writing approximately 1,500 SOAs each year.
