•	Provide support and guidance to the transport and warehouse management team.  Working a 5 day operation.  Delivering a multi drop service across the Yorkshire and North East between 21 – 33 vehicles
•	Managing a warehouse completing multiple case and bottle pick from over 3500 SKU’s
•	Lead and drive continuous improvement in a health and safety and customer service
•	Manage costs in line with a £4.6million pounds budget

Operations Manager

DHL Trade Team

•	Lead over 120 drivers and mates completing multi drop deliveries
•	Managing a transport team of 4 managers, 1 x team leader, 2 planners and 4 customer service administrators
•	Responsible for the compliance and legalisation for 55 vehicles, combination of urban artics, rigids and vans.
•	Lead health and safety, drive and deliver a proactive approach
•	Provide a proactive approach for customer service and managing customer complaints.

KNDL

•	Lead over 200 employees over 24 hour operation 7 days a week – 2 Site Managers, 2  Transport Managers, 16 Team Managers, 24 Support Managers and Clerks, 170 drivers
•	Managing a primary transport operation on 2 customer sites and 2 RDC across the M62 corridor and Livingston (Scotland)
•	Responsible for over 60 articulated vehicles and over 250 trailers, ensure that legal compliance is maintained.
•	Responsible for regional closed book budget of £20 million
•	Engage and manage a leading brand name customer in Heineken at their two main production sites in the UK
•	Lead a culture of Health and Safety 
•	Develop and empower teams to deliver continuous improvement
•	Manage suppliers through regular meetings exploring opportunities for service improvements and cost reduction 
•	Ensure that the correct levels of flexible resource are secured to maintain customer service during peak periods

Regional Transport Manager

Site Manager

•	Managing drivers and clerks on a customer’s production site and at an RDC
•	Responsible at Tadcaster for over 50 full time drivers and 4 clerks.  Wakefield over 40 drivers, 2 team leaders and 4 clerks
•	Managing and executing planned work for up to 30 articulated vehicles at Tadcaster and 20 vehicles at WRDC.  Making customer deliveries to major supermarket RDC’s/NDC’s, major wholesale outlets and network delivery points
•	Experienced in vehicle planning / routing

An experienced logistics professional with 20 years experience in the warehouse and distribution industry.  I am a hardworking, extremely self motivated individual.   I am a natural leader who has a proven track record of delivering operational business strategies through motivation and the development of team members. I lead teams to deliver operational excellence through a collaborative style whereby team members are empowered to constructively challenge the status quo, in a proactive manner to better both themselves and the operation that they are a part of.
