Over the last 20 years I have had the privilege of leading and contributing to teams focused on AI, speech recognition, and emerging technologies. Now I'm taking what I've learnt and applying to help small businesses use AI. As the CTO and Co-Founder of MajorBoost I worked on developing generative AI solutions to help healthcare companies improve their phone calling experience. In my earlier venture co-founding Callsign Copilot, I helped develop speech recognition models to support pilots, navigating challenges with small datasets through methods like denoising and transfer learning, and enabling these models to run on mobile devices offline. At Callsign Copilot we also built chat bots to help trainee pilots practice talking to air traffic control. While at Microsoft, I led a team exploring new user experiences on platforms like HoloLens and Surface. My responsibilities included guiding the team's technical direction, alongside product and management duties. During this period, I was fortunate to contribute to 29 patents, covering a range of technologies from AI to augmented reality. Throughout my career, I've been motivated by the opportunity to apply technology to help people solve problems, always aiming to learn and grow alongside my teams.
