Convinced that humanity will have to face his biggest challenge with climate change in the decades to come, I decided to dedicate my skills and energy to the mitigation of global warming. Following the motto “Reduce what you can, offset what you can’t”, I also do my best to lobby on companies and politics for true changes. To go further, I co-founded the From Sand to Green project aiming to rehabilitate the arid coast of western Morocco into a useful orchard for man. To do this, we capture CO2 by creating, in the desert, fruit tree plantations irrigated by desalination of seawater, powered by sun. The fight against deforestation and desertification, soil fertilization, the creation of carbon sinks, or even the production of carbon-positive agriculture are all objectives that From Sand to Green pursues daily through its local plantations, sustainable and profitable.
