I have always had a deep passion for top notch communication and immersive audience engagement - figuring out a way to most effectively reach them with timely, contextually relevant and exciting content - always with an eye on their challenges, goals and aspirations. With the objective to allow and foster a lasting engagement - a cornerstone of establishing that coveted top-of-mind positioning across our audiences. 

Over all these years at Hilti, I am blessed in bringing to life a plethora of forward-thinking ideas, have purposefully challenged the status quo with new ways of approaching our customer-centric messaging and marketing campaigns, while continuously advising stakeholders and markets alike - always with best-in-class communications at heart.

Leading Brand Storytelling and Digital Design

Innovation and well designed storytelling have lead me here. As Head of Global Brand Design, I continued to help fuel creativity and brainstorm ideas, from abstract analysis to new ways of problem solving, developing marketing campaign solutions and spearheading the evolution of Hilti's brand expression. 

2020: my team and I went fully digital - from execution and distribution sprints with very little backlog, to impressive on-time closing rates.

We supported all our stakeholders/global departments with 480+ high priority business tasks, scaled cross-departmental collaboration by leveraging team-alignments, joined initiatives where it best benefited the company overall.

2021: we ran a glocal design management execution with an impressive 2.6 FTEs. Multi-layered/-tiered consulting, advising and production support (including strategic marketing, web content and sales programs).

2022: further increase of efficiency, strengthening collaboration all across the world.

I fought for new ideas and tracked world business strategies, as well as seeked out industries in transition to fuel our thinking and our approaches to problem solving. Empowering design solutions, and then convincing our leaders to boldly move forward - most notably in our approach of how we launched one of the biggest innovations in cordless performance with Nuron - lead to the a campaign we're most proud of: defining creative direction/design framework for one of Hilti's first ever 360 degree multi-channel marketing campaigns. 

Innovative thinking and entrepreneurship within my teams fired me up - with last but not least - proudly bringing to life the idea of Brand Lab: a new way of looking at our brand and the world, helping inspire continuous evolution and fostering creative design thinking, keenly being aware of trends, but not falling victim to them or ever abandonning Hilti's brand fundamentals and powerful legacy.

Head of Global Brand Design

Successfully leading an agile, highly creative team of talented designers within the challenging demands of a sales organization, while also advising brand managers and brand design representatives globally on campaign execution excellence, be it internal workforce or external agencies alike.

Spearheading business focus and results-driven marketing solutions, to impact growth in both brand equity and the financial bottom line. 

Using design excellence, business acumen and emotional intelligence in creating alliances among design departments and business units, blasting silos into Neverland. 

Re-built a new project management process from scratch (leveraging Kanban and Scrum methods) to adapt to our multi-faceted work demands and diverse stakeholder mix, increasing transparency, trackability and traceability. 

Spearheading platforms and initiatives of brand innovation and brand evolution to further boost product and service innovation through holistic service design and customer centric design thinking, with growth mindset at its core.
