I'm a web developer who has worked extensively with both frontend and backend technologies, and have also dabbled in machine learning and data mining. My experience in web development includes front end development: encompassing HTML (and various templating languages such as Pug, Liquid, ERB), CSS & SCSS, and JavaScript and various frameworks like React, Vue, and modern JavaScript (ES6), as well as backend development with PHP, Ruby, and Node to build APIs, interact with databases, Content Management, and more. I've also worked on the data layer, both in designing databases andinteracting with them. While I work on many aspects of sites and tooling, there are some areas I find more interesting and engaging. These include site speed and performance, where I work to learn how to cut down load and execution times in even small ways. I've built tooling (https://www.npmjs.com/package/resource-auditer) to help find ways of cutting resources and seeing what extra weight is included in a site. It also includes Service Workers, both for caching & offline usage, as well as a bridge for adding push notifications.
