Our annual Programmatic Insider event is always one of my favourite days of the year, but this one really stands out.

From the packed house and engaged audience, to the fine details making it flow like clockwork, to finally having an excuse to wear a cowboy hat on stage!

STOP saying attention spans are dead.

My seven year old can sit for hours on something she is into (shout out to Kids Art Hub - IYKYK).

But she'll scroll past your content in 0.3 seconds if it doesn't hit.

👉 The problem isn't attention spans. It's consideration spans.

You have maybe 3 seconds (not 10) to prove you're worth their attention. 

This completely flips how we should create content:
→ Front-load your value. Lead with the payoff, not the setup. 
→ Long-form content isn't dead - boring openings are. 
→ People will invest time if you earn their trust upfront.

What's the most valuable thing you can tell someone in your first sentence?

Imagine two restaurants, both with reviews of 4.5 stars. 

❓How would you choose ❓

How about the language used in those reviews.

➡️ Restaurant reviews that use more emotional language get more reservations.
➡️ Movies with more emotional reviews sell more tickets.
➡️ Books with emotional reviews sell more copies.

Yet most of us still write like robots: 
❌ "Our solution provides optimal efficiency" 
✅ "Finally, no more Sunday night anxiety about Monday morning"

Emotional language breaks through because it appeals to the emotional part of your brain. 

And it's the emotional part of your brain that drives behaviour. Which is what we’re all after, isn’t it?

Nvidia investing $100B in OpenAI.
Microsoft invests $10B+ in OpenAI.
Nvidia investing $5B in Intel.
Amazon investing $5B in Anthropic. 
Larry Ellison is going to own part of TikTok.
Oracle and OpenAI have a $300B cloud deal.
