We see ourselves as part of an impact revolution, which aims to transform the way we develop regenerative (beyond sustainable) cities and societies working with nature and natural processes combining them with Smartwater monitoring and management. The long term perspective of our solution is to offer e regenerative foodsystem on water as well as a much more natural and efficient water management system to secure that our use of natural resources can be held within planetary boundaries. Founding ECO Island is our contribution to design and implement sustainable solutions to global problems of high complexity and it represents a new growth paradigm, which is regenerative and healthy for the generations ahead of us. The purpose is to accelerate systemic transformation by the development towards the highest degree of sustainability (such as regeneration and restoration) based on the establishment of ecological systems in natural balance. Healthy eco systems are the starting point of all life and preserving the Earth’s ecosystems is fundamental for food security, climate change mitigation, poverty reduction and social stability, as well as overall sustainable development.
