For over three decades, I have been heavily involved in martial arts and the fitness & wellness industry across Merseyside. I am most proud of having taught thousands of students across the country ranging from some achieving black belts, some going on to become British, European and world champions. I started training as a child and I am professionally trained in Kung Fu, kickboxing ,Thai boxing, standard boxing, Filipino Eskrima, Russian Sambo, Jeet Kune Do and Taekwondo. Whilst training in these practices, I gathered life long skills in not only the physical aspect but the mental. My love for the sports I am trained in stems from the transformation they can offer to individuals in terms of mindset and in turn, a happier, fuller life. As a result of my lifelong passion with martial arts, I have founded and directed numerous gyms and associations to promote the awareness and benefits of the sport. In turn, I have arranged many charity events to raise money for a wide variety of causes, combining my love of the sports with my motivation to support and raise money for charities I strongly believe in. My other speciality resides in the events management sector. My experience ranges from police boxing benefits, charity fundraisers for families affected by suicide and cancer, organising and hosting retreats and training holidays in both the UK and Spain, black tie corporate events and general networking events for multiple businesses. My purpose is based on assisting and supporting others as much as possible. This is evident in the portfolio I have working with tens of charities and producing material for them via leading workshops and seminars. Throughout my experience, I have witnessed how key, good mental health is to fulfilment and success. Without a balanced mindset and practices in place to handle life’s pressures, it can be detrimental to one’s life. This strong belief has fuelled my co-founding and development of Claritee; a company revolutionising the corporate event and training sphere. Claritee aims to help employers and employees across the nation in bettering their practices when it comes to corporate handling of mental health and wellbeing.
